Dakota Lithium 12V 46AH Lithium Battery

Built Dakota tough, this 12 volt lithium battery package packs a big punch in a small, compact package. Engineered with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology, this battery has twice the power, half the weight, and lasts 4 times longer than a sealed lead acid battery – providing exceptional lifetime value. This twin pack gives you the option to combine two 23 Amp hour batteries in parallel for a 12v 46 Amp Hour (Ah) system that has the amp draw needed to run smaller 12 volt trolling motors (less than 30 lbs of thrust) or for longer run time. For larger 12v trolling motors (less than 40 lbs of thrust) we recommend the 54ah or for multi-day run time the 100ah. LiFePO4 charger recommended.

Capacity: 46 ampere hours (Two 12.8V batteries to be wired in parellel). Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 46 amp hours. DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.
Terminals: M6 terminals (posts that screw in). When used in salt water environments we recommend applying a small amount of dielectric grease on the threads of each terminal. It helps extend the lifespan. (Recommended Torque 5 ft lbs, Max Torque 9 ft lbs)
Compatibility: Powers all 12v electronics. Powers trolling motors 45lbs of thrust or less. Optimal run time at 30lbs of thrust is 100 min - 150 min depending on motor setting.

Weight: 6.4 lbs (2.9Kg). That's 60% lighter than a SLA battery per battery.
Lifecycles: Up to 80% capacity for 2,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.
Operating Temperature: Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -20'F min, +120'F max optimal discharging temps (battery performs well down to -20'F). Charging 32'F to 120'F. (charge above freezing)
Discharge: 48 A max continuous, 120 A max pulse (less than 3 sec) when wired in parallel. The flat discharge voltage curve provides a 75% bigger capacity than two 23Ah SLA batteries in parallel.
Charge: 12 A max, 14.4 V max recommended, 15 V max. Please note: this battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. A SLA charger may work, but will reduce performance and lifespan of the battery.
Certifications: All batteries are UN 38 certified. Dakota Lithium's cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Meets all US & International regulations for air, ground, and train transport.
Protection: Contains a circuit that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.
Charger Sold Separately: This battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. A SLA charger may work, but will reduce performance and lifespan of the battery.
