Kayak Setup Guide
Follow these four steps to get your kayak assembled, updated, calibrated, and ready for the water.

Assemble the kayak and install the equipment.
Complete the kayak assembly and install the XPDL unit and fish finder, if equipped.

Download the VoyaX app and update the firmware.
Create an account, register the serial numbers for both the kayak hull and the XPDL unit, and complete the over-the-air (OTA) firmware update through the app.
Before starting the update, make sure the ThumbCon and VoyaX Fish Finder, if equipped, are securely connected to the XPDL unit and remain connected throughout the process. Their firmware must be updated along with the XPDL firmware to ensure the equipment operates properly.

Calibrate the controller before launching.
Complete controller calibration before putting the kayak in the water.

Calibrate the compass on the water.
Once the kayak is in the water, complete compass calibration.
