We Accept Returns
In the event that you would like to return a purchased item, please contact us, and do not ship the item back until we tell you to do so. All non-defective returns are subject to a small restocking fee, and buyer will be liable for all shipping charges.
Most items come with a 30-day return policy. If you are unsure of the return policy of a certain product, please contact us. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. In other words, the product must be able to be re-sold as new. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase
Eco Fishing Shop reserves the right to inspect all return products and may reduce the credit if the product returned is damaged or incomplete. If shipment is refused or undeliverable and is found to be in an acceptable state, a 15% restocking fee will apply.
If you decide you want to return your order, please email us at email@example.com with your order number and we will assist you. We want to make this as simple of a process as possible for you.
If the product is damaged, you must make note of it immediately when signing for delivery and send photos to firstname.lastname@example.org the day of delivery. Eco Fishing Shop will pay for shipping defective, damaged, or incorrect merchandise at our cost. Remember to keep all the original packaging for any items that need to be returned. All returns need to be authorized by our customer service department prior to being processed. We will ensure you get the product you ordered, undamaged, as soon as possible. Items that become damaged after use are non-refundable unless specified under warranty.
We understand that unexpected things come up, so we always work with people as best we can. Due to COVID-19 our business as well as many others have had to adjust to working in a safe & compliant manner with health regulations. Due to decreased supply and increased shipping costs we have had to adjust to mitigate damages. Beginning March 1st 2020, if you cancel within 48 hours then you will receive a full refund. If you cancel after 48 hours & we have already processed your payment, you may be liable for the payment processing fee incurred on our end (3.9% of total order amount). In this scenario, you will be refunded for your order, minus the 3.9%. Please understand - we do not keep this to line our pockets; this fee is charged to us by payment processors when we process your payment and it does not get refunded to us by them in the event of a cancelled order/refund.
If you decide to cancel your order after it has already shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual shipping costs to you and back to the manufacturer. You will also be liable for the payment processing fees incurred on our end (3.9% of total order amount).
CANCELLATION STORE CREDIT: If you do decide to cancel your order and are charged the 3.9% fee, then you can use this fee as future store credit. For example, you spent $1000 and you decide to cancel your order after the 48 hour period. You will be refunded $961 ($1000- $39). If you decide to buy from us again, then you will have $39 as store credit.
Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. Depending on your financial institution, refunds may take up to 1-2 weeks to return to your account. We typically see refunds be returned in less than 1 week, but this depends on your financial institution and is out of our control.
Other Return Policy Notes:
- If a certain vendor or product does not support the return policy stated above, this will be noted in the product descriptions or in the product-specific return information.
- Products that are specified as certified pre-owned or used are ineligible for a return
- Eco Fishing Shop only sells to purchasers who intend to use the item(s) for the duration of its economic life. Orders purchased for the specific purpose of a "one time use or temporary use" are not eligible for return under any circumstances. This includes but is not limited to; orders intended for use in a trade show or a conference venue, orders that are purchased by promotional companies, and orders that are purchased by trade show facilitators.
