Return Policy

While we fully stand by every product that we sell, we understand that sometimes you might change your mind or realize the product you ordered wasn't exactly what you were hoping for. That's why we offer a 30 Day Return Policy.

If you decide you want to return an item for any reason within 30 days after receipt of your order, please email us at sales@ecofishingshop.com with your order number and we will provide detailed instructions on how to process the return.

Please note, you as the customer will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs of the item(s) in your order as well as a restocking fee.

Once your return item(s) have been received and inspected at our warehouse(s), we will send you an email notification that we have processed your return payment (minus a 10-40% restocking fee*) to your original payment method.

*Please note: In order to receive a refund for the item(s) ordered, the item(s) must arrive back to our distribution center in "Like New" condition and must contain all original packaging and accessories. "Like New" means that the items you ordered must not show any visual signs of wear. If items are returned with visual signs of wear, or have any minor issues due to use, items may still qualify for return for “Refurbished Use”, in this case a 40% restocking fee will be assessed. Items that are damaged or are showing significant signs of wear will not be accepted and no refund will be given.

If you decide you want to return your order, please email us at sales@ecofishingshop.com with your order number and we will assist you. We want to make this as simple of a process as possible for you.

Damages

If the product is damaged, you must make note of it immediately when signing for delivery and send photos to sales@ecofishingshop.com the day of delivery. Eco Fishing Shop will pay for shipping defective, damaged, or incorrect merchandise at our cost. Remember to keep all the original packaging for any items that need to be returned. All returns need to be authorized by our customer service department prior to being processed. We will ensure you get the product you ordered, undamaged, as soon as possible. Items that become damaged after use are non-refundable unless specified under warranty.

It is very important that you unwrap your boats and inspect them for damage before signing the Delivery Report. Failure to do so will result in loss of claim. If the kayak is punctured or damaged to the extent that it is not functional or usable, refuse the shipment and please take pictures. If you ordered accessories, please KEEP them and only refuse the boat. If the damage is cosmetic and/or able to be repaired, such as dents or scratches detail the damage on the delivery report, and include the words “visibly damaged”. We will help in filing a claim and these issues are easily fixable. If you refuse a kayak with minor cosmetic damage then you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unexpected things come up, so we always work with people as best we can. Due to COVID-19 our business as well as many others have had to adjust to working in a safe & compliant manner with health regulations. Due to decreased supply and increased shipping costs we have had to adjust to mitigate damages. Beginning March 1st 2020, if you cancel within 48 hours then you will receive a full refund. If you cancel after 48 hours & we have already processed your payment, you may be liable for the payment processing fee incurred on our end (3.9% of total order amount). In this scenario, you will be refunded for your order, minus the 3.9%. Please understand - we do not keep this to line our pockets; this fee is charged to us by payment processors when we process your payment and it does not get refunded to us by them in the event of a cancelled order/refund.

UPDATED October 1st: If your shipping time extends past your original shipping ETA date by 30 or more days, then your cancellation fee will be waived completely. 

If you decide to cancel your order after it has already shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual shipping costs to you and back to the manufacturer. You will also be liable for the payment processing fees incurred on our end (3.9% of total order amount). 

Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. Depending on your financial institution, refunds may take up to 1-2 weeks to return to your account. We typically see refunds be returned in less than 1 week, but this depends on your financial institution and is out of our control.

Other Return Policy Notes:

  • If a certain vendor or product does not support the return policy stated above, this will be noted in the product descriptions or in the product-specific return information.
  • Products that are specified as certified pre-owned or used are ineligible for a return
  • Eco Fishing Shop only sells to purchasers who intend to use the item(s) for the duration of its economic life. Orders purchased for the specific purpose of a "one time use or temporary use" are not eligible for return under any circumstances. This includes but is not limited to; orders intended for use in a trade show or a conference venue, orders that are purchased by promotional companies, and orders that are purchased by trade show facilitators.
