It’s so easy ordering from Eco fishing Shop. If you have any questions they are willing to help not only from products but from their experience as well.
I love the kayak overall, the seat is comfortable but it does feel like it’s meant to taller people. I am fairly short and when I try to adjust myself to reach the pedals the seat shifts out of position. Other than that everything else is great. The drive is smooth and fast. The kayak is compact and easy to store and I love the built in rails for attachments.
I have multiple Jackson Big Rig's. The stability and ability to carry my gear is amazing. I plan on purchasing two other Jackson Kayaks because of the pedal drive and stability. The Flex Drive is portable, dependable and fast. And when my kids use my kayak I do not have to worry about drive damage due to he in hull lower unit. Our other pedal drive kayaks are damaged because my kids have trouble lifting and remembering to lift them out of the water! Could not be a bigger fan.
Love my new PWR129 PRO the seat is super comfortable and it swivels!! Can’t wait for spring to do new fishing trips to the lake!!
The kayak I have is a Jackson Knarr, so it's pretty large, I'd say it probably maxes the width size out on the rack, so you could say I'm pushing it. The rack appears to easily take the weight, and some 3rd party casters I found work well and saved a little money, though when unlocked and in motion the two racks begin to slide apart under the yak because of the hull shape/weight and if I move too much the yak will begin to roll to one side. If I keep account of these two slightly annoying issues when in motion, all is great while truck loading/unloading and storing 👍
Perfect for when I don’t want to bring my full 16x16 BlackPak and want to go a little lighter.
Works great, this is a great investment
Ecoshop was a 5 star experience, the carrier that did the delivery to my house is what brings your rating from a 5 to a three. One they made me be present for the delivery, which when I went to the Eco Facebook page, other buyers never said that they had to be home. Two, I had to personally physically help the driver take my kayak off the truck and set it on my trailer that I backed up to the road. I do want to thank Perry, he gave me a $200 discount off the price and then also sent repair material to fix the cuts and gouges from shipping.
Much better way to mount your trolling motor than the simple plate that nucanoe sells. Love this one, super sturdy and secure.
Wow! Totally satisfied with the shipping company Eco Fishing Shop uses and the Eco Fishing Shop experience as a whole! I received my Jackson Bite kayak 13 days after placing the order and not a single scratch found on it. The outer packaging (wrapping) had zero damage as well. Thank you Eco Fishing Shop!
Was a great event in my eyes. Staff was kind and welcoming, the post tournament dinner and awards ceremony was a great time! Shared a table with fun people from Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, and Minnesota. Was great to meet a bunch of fellow fish heads. Will definitely be back for another.
The Big Bass 250 at Lake of the Ozarks was an incredible experience. Eco Fishing Shop continues to set the standard for well-run kayak fishing events, and this tournament was no exception. From the smooth registration process to the clear rules and communication, everything felt organized and welcoming.
Even though I didn’t catch the $10,000 fish, the day was an absolute blast, great energy on the water, tons of anglers, and plenty of fish biting. It’s the kind of event that brings the kayak fishing community together and keeps you coming back year after year.
Eco Fishing Shop does an outstanding job supporting anglers with not just gear, but community, culture, and events that make the sport even better. I’m already looking forward to the next Big Bass 250. Highly recommend!
Being my first year attending, I thought the overall event went well. The only thing I would change would be a little bit longer prefishing on Friday. I understand the check in process takes a bit longer.
If you don’t have a Hobie don’t buy this cart. Hobie designs their scupper system to be able to use scupper carts like this, other kayaks don’t and will eventually crack there. That said this cart makes hauling a Hobie on sand so much easier. The cart’s keeper pin means I can put it on on the bed of my truck, roll it to the water without worrying that the cart will fallout from under the kayak, and roll it right into the water. On the water I just put the cart on the bow of the kayak with the bungees for the hatch to keep it attached. The best part is getting the kayak off the water, just pop the wheels in while the cart is in the water (takes a little learning curve but it’s not too difficult) and roll away. No lifting or carrying or excessive maneuvering.
Just got the kayak 2 , haven’t take. It out yet, waiting till spring.
My first one was damaged by shipping, but Eco Fishing Customer Service was super quick to resolve the issue. They had the old one pick up in a few days and then had the new one shipped out in about a week and a half. They were super easy to deal with. Great job Eco Fishing!
My first personal watercraft was a W.S. Pungo. I have owned and used dozens of different types and makes since then, but I still miss that boat. I have fitted a Bixby on this yak with an attached trolling motor transducer. I made a very small indent to accept the transducer cable and slightly shaved the power cord connector nut to allow it to fit through the scupper. What I like is the W.S. light-weight when stripped down, and its ability to fit in a stout rollable for different types of transportation. What I don't like is the limitations for outfitting. I also, would like to have 4 versus 2 air chambers.
Love my new kayak it’s amazing and the company makes sure and takes care of their customers.
I’ve been using my Jackson Bite FD for a little while now, and it’s been a great kayak overall. The pedal drive is smooth and makes long days on the lake a lot easier, especially when I’m dealing with wind or covering bigger water. The kayak feels really stable, even when I’m moving around or reaching for gear.
There’s plenty of deck space to stand, move, and organize everything I need. The seat is decent—not the most perfect fit for me yet, and I’m still trying to find that ideal position—but it’s definitely not uncomfortable or the worst seat out there.
Eco Fishing Shop was great to deal with during the purchase. They answered my questions, were easy to work with, and made the whole process simple.
Overall, I’m really happy with the kayak and the experience so far.
You won't regret doing this. Best around with great people and prizes.
