Thank you for my Hobie mirage passport kayak, the price was great the shipping was faster than expected, I ordered on 5/1 and at 8a.m 5/13 I had my kayak wrapped 100% not a scratch on it. When I read the reviews about the shipping I reached out to Eco and they instantly gave me the tracking info that said the arrival date would be next week and I was fine with that but a week earlier, they called the day before, the delivery guys carried it into my garage as well, it was great, I inspected it up and down can't wait to take it out. Don't hesitate from buying from Eco Fishingshop, Look at the pics.
A month ago I received an Old Town Sportsman 120 PDL Pro from Eco Fishing. It arrived sooner than I expected, however the seat was torn and the seat bracket was broken. I took pictures and contacted Eco Fishing immediately. They were fantastic in responding quickly and kindly. I got the new seat about a week later. Love the kayak! And I think the Protective Wrapping was fine but it did not withstand a probable forklift attack. Who knows. What I do know is Eco Fishing took care of it quickly!
The Epropulsion Spirit 1.0 Bag Set is awesome. The quality is amazing with its padding and carrying straps makes transport much simpler. The motor and batteries fit perfectly in their respective bags. The fit is like a glove . Couldn’t be happier. The material is super thick and durable as well.
Love everything HP,Throttle,Display. Quick and easy to install after every fishing trip.
I am so excited. Old Town hit a home run with this one. Gear tracks everywhere. Access to the hull with wired grommets in several places. Pedal system is quiet and easy to pedal. 3.0 mph is pretty easy. Trolling at 1.2 mph is achievable all day.
I knew it wasn’t going to be the quickest kayak I’ve owned but it moves and tracks better than I thought it would. The stability is why I chose it and I’ve been blown away by it…literally. The stability while standing up is amazing even on an all sports lake with all the boats and jet skis. Delivery was great no problems at all as I’ve grown to expect from eco fishing shop.
Keeps poles away from pedals on kayak. But these they are hard to find.
Was skeptical to order at first considering I live in North Carolina and was nervous about receiving it damaged since it got shipped across a few states. Everything showed up in perfect condition! Was very impressed how they handled everything and would highly recommend on ordering from them!! Great communication when I contacted them before I ordered and they gave good shipping details.

Pros:
The pedal system is great.
We mounted a fish finder easy enough and this is a great addition.

Cons:
The rudder control needs to be fixed to face outward instead of forward to give better range of motion. Although there is good storage, there is nothing to keep smaller items from going all the way to the middle or back of kayak making it unreachable.
Also, the kayak is HEAVY!
Overall, we’ve had the kayak out a couple of times and so far he loves it.
Took a little while to receive and was missing a few screws for seat assembly. Eco fishing shop hooked me up promptly and got me taken care of. Got the Yak all setup and will update once I take out but the shopping experience was great.
I've had my Old Town Sportsman Salty PDL 120 for a few weeks now, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Eco fishing shop is incredible if you don’t have local retailers available! Fast shipping and immediately responsive customer service. This is an excellent kayak with a strong, simple, and reliably built pedal drive system. The yak itself provides excellent stability (I’m 5’10”, roughly 240lbs, and I stand up and fly fish out of it in choppy tidal waters w/ constant boat traffic). It also has excellent mounting option for rod holders and accessories, and an easy drop rudder. Best of all, the light weight allows me to throw it on top of my ford focus, in a j bar!! Definitely can’t do this with other fishing model kayaks!! This accessibility allowed me to upgrade from a pelican odyssey that I’d been paddling around for years. Can’t wait to eventually put a bixpy on it!
This Kayak is amazing. Spot lock technology is awesome. 4 times on the water so far. I'm looking forward mire usage and learning all the nuisance of this great fishing vessel.
Had a missing item from my order. After getting the run around from the delivery company I contacted Eco Fishing in Camdenton Mo after explaining the situation problem was resolved. Better customer service cannot be found anywhere. Would shop there again with confidence.
It works pretty well for a small screen. the vivid thing is pretty useless, it's just choosing what color the display is. for a relatively inexpensive fish finder, it's not bad. I wish I had gone with a 7 or 9 though.
I don't have a lot of experience with kayaks other than the big box store specials that are basically giant milk cartons. This is my first quality fishing kayak and it's basically perfect for me. The seat is super comfortable, the pedal drive is easy to deploy and remove, and I can stand anywhere on the deck and feel secure. The deck stays mostly dry with the scupper plugs but can still pop them open and drain if you need. For reference, I'm around 250 pounds and 6'1" tall, and I can pedal this thing for hours. I just bought the motordrive for it, which should extend my range even more.
Pros: seat is amazing, adjusting for pedal stroke is really easy; dry storage is huge; lots of rod storage; tank well holds the rectangle blackpak easily; lots of mounting options; lots of stability
Cons: the tracks are held on with small screws and flex easy; you have to spend extra on track adapters since feelfree doesn't make any actual accessories for their track; the wheel in the keel coupled with the rudder make it very difficult to load on a vehicle, especially roof racks for an SUV; the drive is fairly loud even with good lithium grease; the container the pedal drive comes in can't be used for transport unless you take the pedals off which is a pain. Save the money and shipping weight and just put them in a box.
Eco Fishing Shop took really good care of me through the delayed shipping process. The LTL company for shipping was really slow to my area, but that is not Eco's fault. The delivery crew themselves were really great though. Zero damage in transit, very well packaged.
Of all the transportation options available for this boat the side kick style is best suited for the hull shape. Getting in and out of a PU Truck is fairly easy as it relates to protecting the rudder of the Native Slayer Max. You can take the wheels with you in the locked up position or leave them in the truck. I have yet to test the system on rough terrain, but I suspect they will perform well.
