I’m using it for my Hobie PA12 and am very satisfied. Its adjustable width makes it fit perfectly in the pontoon grooves on the bottom of the boat. Handles the 130 weight easily.
Could not be happier with the purchase experience of my RVR through Eco Fishing! Delivery was painless and everything arrived in perfect shape. Highly recommend the RVR and buying through ECO!
Mounted on my Old Town 106 MK lots on room for my Helix 7 , GoPro mount and YakAttack phone roto grip Very Sturdy Highly recommend!
Love the unique design and style allows me to get into more smaller and secluded spaces
Nice cart. I had to set it up in the highest position cause the cart wheels would rub the bottom of my yak in the low position. I gotta lift my yak very high to get it over the cart and in position.
Great power and efficiency with my Nucanoe Unlimited. However, I wish I went with the NK300 due to the fact that it has a built in rudder (would fix tracking and turning radius issues). It wasn’t too much more to upgrade and in hindsight I would do the NK300 even if I didn’t need the extra power. The 300 is more efficient at medium speeds as well. But if the NK180 is on sale, it’s still a great choice.
Fits well , I would recommend this product.
If you’ve never fished from one and are debating taking the dive do it!!!! It’s worth every penny super stable and relatively quick for its size!
Have not used it yet. Still in winter in north Idaho until April.
YakAttack Rectangular Fish Finder Mount w/ Mounting System
I bought this for my new Bonafide XTR130 and it delivers. The maximum speed I've achieved is 5.8 mph which is great when the temperature starts to drop. It cruises nicely around 3 mph with plenty of battery life for my bay fishing needs. I have yet to drain the battery below 25%. Installation was easy, and it runs almost silent. Also, tech support returned my call in a timely manner when I had a question.
Had this thing out on the gulf of Alaska the last couple days. Super stable. And so easy to peddle, like a bike on flat ground. A little faster than using a paddle too. I am very impressed.
I have owned this kayak now for almost 7 months and the hardware in it is cheap. Some issues I’ve had are fraying cables, the fin drive has come apart numerous times in the water, I had to redrill the holes on the seat adapters from the factory because they was enough play where the seat would fall out of the adapter. the kayak feels slow, the other commenter mentioning squeak and the seat is 100% accurate. Within 2 months the rudder cables were falling apart. Last night I was going to clean it. As I was removing the drive box the thread molded into the kayak was spinning (which is supposed to be stationary, so the screw holding it down wouldn’t back out. Unless you want to constantly be fixing something buy another model. Nothing wrong on the Eco Fishing Shop end. Shipped and arrived as described. I’m looking at Old Towns and other brands now, pay the extra cost.
Have taken her out once and WHAT AN UPGRADE!!!! I am coming from a HooDoo 125P which has been an Amazing rig for me for the last 4 years. But I want to stand (being a bigger guy) so I can sight fish too. Game Changer!!! With the added confidence of this Kayak I am starting to tournament fish this year, She is that good! She peddles silent, steering is crisp and I can move through the water so easy with peddle or paddle. I have SO MUCH SPACE!!! Make sure you pick up a paddle if you don’t have one, not a deal breaker for me but if you don’t have a paddle you will need one with the Dorado. Also they have wired her already with a step down inverter for your graph/depth finder. The 48v I thought was going to be problematic because price of batteries at that voltage don’t come cheap. But after doing the math even a 30ah will be enough charge for several fishing trips. If you are on the fence come to the Dorado Side, You Will Not Regret It!!! THANKS FEEL FREE and ECO FISHING SHOP!!!
Great business!!! Would defently buy again from eco fishing great all around experience!!!
Nice solid vest that is not so puffy as to get in way of paddling. Very adjustable and high quality.
I own three 106 Sportsmans. One is a pedal Drive. 2 Bought and delivered to me protective wrapped from ECO. I love all Three. Great Stability - which was most important to me. I have a camp on a creek letting into Sam Rayburn Lake. I throw on the back of my ATV and cruise about a 1/4 mile and drag into creek - FISH ON!! Light Weight and Durable - PERFECT Fishing Kayak!
It’s winter so I haven’t fished out of it yet. I can tell already that the rudder system is superior to my Radar 115. It deploys better and steers better. Eco had the kayak on sale and I saved money on that. During shipping the kayak received several scratches on the hull bottom, none structural. The only drawback is that the kayak is heavy. Eco had the kayak cart on sale for about half of the usual price so that helps solve the heavy problem. I am very satisfied with the kayak and Eco customer service.
I give Eco Fishing very high accolades! After reviewing many Old Town websites, I chose to go with Eco Fishing because their shipping was free. Instead of waiting for any black Friday sales I bought their kayak a week before. When I reviewed Eco Fishing website on black Friday, I noticed they had dropped the price of their Old Town's considerably. I reached out to Eco Fishing to see if I could get the discount. They didn't have to but gave me the difference in store credit which I used to add accessories I was going to purchase anyhow. Also want to give 5 stars to the delivery company Eco Fishing used. At delivery I had about a foot and half of snow on the ground. The young men parked the truck at the bottom of my drive, unloaded and carried on foot the Old Town 106 PDL kayak 300 yards up my slippery drive to my deck. This was above and beyond the call of duty. So, a big shout out to those gentlemen!
The kayak and all parts were received in good working order. Waiting for ice out to drop it in and fish. I will certainly be doing my business with Eco Fishing in the future! Keep up the good work.
Too much snow and cold. Will be April before I can get my kayak out!
