After owning a Rhodan 84" on my 25'cc and a MinnKota Ulterra 54" on my jetski I have to say that the garmin kraken blows them both out of the water. Kraken is quieter, stronger, and more accurate. Only thing it lacks is the self deploy, stow, and teim. Definitely recommend this.
Great cart to get the Big Fish 108 to and from the water. We added the larger pool noodles on the support bars and they fut perfectly in the tri hull design to transport to the water a bit easier.

Inspected it shortly after arrival just as instructed and found one of the twist knobs to lock the pedal drive in was cracked on topand had no issue at all contacting Eco Fishing Shop through email and getting it replaced. If you are a more hardcore fisherman, this kayak isnt for you... I should have done more research before buying this.
unitrack system sucks, I have a garmin striker 7sv and fish finder flops around when tightened down on the unitrack system. You need to buy extra unitrack mounts to mount any yakattack products to the rails. Yakattack also makes these little adapters to slide over the Tbolts but the uni-track on the hull flexes so damn much. no storage space on the kayak at all except if you want to fit a blackpack or similar in the back. cant go bigger than a 13x13 blackpack. the seat sits way to low and makes pedaling difficult. If the seat was just 2-3inches higher, it would be a lot more comfortable. the pedal drive (maybe not broken in yet), but makes a high pitched squealing noise. initial stability is meh. this kayak def is hard to flip though! The rudder is pretty trash as well. If you are a hardcore fisherman that is planning on mounting up a fish finder and have it rigged out, this kayak is not for you and you should just get a Oldtown or Native.
For $1400 it isn't bad. but if your dropping over a grand on a kayak, save up some more and get a native or oldtown.
The oldtown 106mk is a game changer.

I got the Park n pole with the link and it has been awesome!! The 12’ pile with the link extension is a lot stiffer than I thought it would be. It makes push piling the kayak up rivers easy!!!

I’m a big boy and have had issues with the seat staying in place on the high positioning. Didn’t receive the end cap extensions they probably would’ve avoided problems!? The eight ball steering looks cool but would prefer flush mounted control. Places to put items such as beverage, tackle, small gear should be design improvements as seen in competitors, A live well or fish box would also be cool. Too early to be more informative but handles the water well 👍🏼. The guys at Eco have been very kind and helpful!!!
I called eco fishing and they delivered 10/10 on customer service for any of my needs and concerns. My nucanoe f10 that was on back order was delivered a month earlier than expected and in great condition
Exhalent customer service. Very pleased with my purchase. Only downfall, it was wrapped in plastic with fragile stickers. But there where multiple shoe prints on top. Stepped on the beaver tail, but everything was ok.
Imo, the best bang for your buck American made kayak. I've been out in two trips so far. With some muscle and good carrier racks, I've been able to top it on my truck canopy.
The pedal works well even in windy areas, storage in all the right places, pedal hatch is perfect for trash. It was big money, but well worth it.
Shipped great and even had some fresh molded plastic shavings still all over it. Eco by far had the best deal, I spent weeks researching fishing kayaks.
OK, I knew this 120 PDL weighed 95+ lbs without the peddle drive system. I figured no problem. I have a pickup so didn't have to hoist it onto a rooftop carrier or anything. I do have a garage wall rack system and this kayak is right at the upper limit of what my wife can handle (about a 4ft lift). Aside from this, I absolutely love it and I am so glad I went with the PDL model. It is a bit of a beast to paddle but is a complete joy to peddle. It's maiden voyage was on a lake, with the drive system installed. Next trip will be down the Chattahoochee River. For that, I will leave the PDL drive at home. I have the drive insert from NKF and it fits the drive opening beautifully. I do wish that Old Town would consider including a Kydex keel guard already installed on their kayaks. Ordered the guard for the 120 PDL from NKF and need to install it before that river trip.
Space and design leaves a lot to be desired. I've seen similar kayaks at and around the same price point that have many more features and utilize the space in the kayak better. 2 of my main concerns are the peddle drive creaks and moans loud when peddling. Only way to quiet the noise is to poor water over it. It's the rubbing of plastic against plastic that makes the noise. Not sure if something is wrong with mine or just a bad design. Also, one of the rudder nuts that the steering wire goes through that are supposed to be adjustable broke when I was straightening the rudder which is something you need to do when you first get the kayak. But the nut that broke is made of soft aluminum or something and you can barely touch it or it will brake. Overall I'm not very happy with my purchase but it's what I could afford so I'll have to deal with it.
I was a little worried at first about it being durable. But my first time put I was using it over stomps and rocks and crashed into the bridge pumped it up on gravel and it held up great. I use it in extreme high winds probably not ideal 25 mph it was had to go agasint the wind but with it I was able to track pretty straight so I’m sure with zero wind it’ll be awesome. My only issue I had this was after the water use I found a slow leak on one of the seams I did manage to use the glue in the kit and it seems to be cured good. I’d def recommend this and I think it’s slightly more easy to lug around than a kayak. Shipping was also very fast !
My ketch id has really been a huge upgrade allowing me to control my fish easier not having to fight getting my code in pictures its made everything so much easier I wish I'd had gotten it a lot sooner thanks so much
