Anchor arrived with a busted eyelet. I tried to reshape it so I can use the carabiner the kit came with but it appears the eyelet was already also recessed too much to begin with. I had to fashion a paracord shackle on it in order to use it. Surprised it got past quality control.

Brilliant little anchor

Works well for me in my sea eagle fishing kayak. Used on a 10mph windy day on a river, and didn't blow away. Inflatables sit higher on the water and i have an elevated seat, so i did spin a little, but that was to be expected. It's light enough to pull up one handed (with my dominant hand). Highly recommend.

Essentially a lead bell-like shaped anchor with 4 equi-distant protrusions on the bottom that allows for some extra holding power for your small water craft. After using this anchor on my 14' Sportspal canoe on both rivers and lakes, I found that it works as expected but comes with a price tag of $30 for what amounts to a sculpted hunk of lead. Really overpriced...
It also comes new in a sheathed, rubbery, black PVC "protective covering" that failed after the third use and which I ended up removing after it continued to shred once it contacted with rocks and underwater debris.
My recommendation to Anchor Wizard is to nix the PVC sheathing, offer just the bare lead (or cast iron) anchor and lower the price.

Great for what I need

I have my anchor paired with the micro anchor and use it mostly on clay bottoms, holds just fine. I like the thick coating on the anchor.
