Bow mount Bonafide

After installation of the mount it is very secure and a tight fit for sure. Make sure you follow the instructions. Or you will forget to put the handle back upfront. I’ve been out on the water and it balances the xi3 with spot lock perfectly! I’ve added my nav lights on the side also!!

Would this also work with pwr129 pro seeing as the bow has roughly the same handle.

Hi there, Unfortunately, no. The Bonafide XTR Bow Motor Mount is designed specifically for the XTR130 and does not fit the PWR129. The two kayaks have different bow designs and mounting points.

Is the Bonafide xtr 2 piece mount necessary for the minnkota terrova kayak motor or can I use the quick release one sold by minn kota.

Hi Mark, For the XTR 130, I'd recommend the Bonafide XTR Bow Motor Mount and then mounting the Minn Kota MKA-21 Quick Release Bracket to it. The bow mount provides a reinforced mounting surface designed specifically for the kayak, while the Minn Kota bracket allows you to easily remove the Terrova when needed.
