Dakota Lithium 12V 46AH Lithium U1 LIFEPO4 Battery

GoFurther with three times the usable power of a traditional U1 battery. Engineered in a 35Ah U1 SLA case, but with 46Ah of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology, this battery has three times the power, half the weight, and lasts 5 times longer than a U1 sealed lead acid battery – providing exceptional performance & lifetime value. 46 Amp hours of capacity provides a full day of power for high amp draw electronics like Garmin and Lowrance fish finders, small trolling motors ( less than 30 lbs thrust), off-grid applications, mobility scooters and electric wheel chairs, or anything where you need a longer run time.

Same performance as our legendary 10 Ah battery, but with 460% more capacity. Optimal performance down to minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit (for winter warriors). Dakota Lithium 12V 46AH Specs

  • Voltage: 12.8V (Dakota Lithium 12V batteries can be used in series for up to 48V systems)
  • Energy: 552 Watt-hours (Wh)
  • Capacity: 46 ampere hours (Ah). Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 46 amp hours. DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.
  • Terminals: F12 terminals (posts that screw in) with M6 size bolts. Max torque 15 ft. lbs.
  • Compatibility: Perfect for trolling motors with 30 lbs of thrust or less. For larger 12v motors the DL+ 12V 60Ah battery is recommended. For 24V & 36V trolling motors the single 24V 60 Ah or 36V 60 Ah batteries are recommended.
  • Size: 7.6”L x 5.1” W x 6.8” H (194mm x 132mm x 173 mm). U1 size (Group 21)
  • Weight: 10.5 lbs (4.75 Kg). 65% lighter than a SLA or lead battery.
  • Lifecycles: Up to 80% capacity for 6,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.
  • Operating Temperature: Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium batteries. -20'F min, +150'F max optimal operating temps (battery performs well down to -20'F). Avoid charging below 32'F. Discharge cut off at - 20'F / -20'C. Charge cut off at 23'F / - 5'C. BMS high temp cut off at 167'F / 75'C.
  • Discharge: 50 A max continuous discharge. The flat discharge voltage curve provides a 3X bigger capacity then a U1 SLA 35Ah battery.
  • Charge: Recommend for longest life 10A or less (.2C), Max continuous 23A (.5C). 14.4 V recommended, 15 V max, BMS protection from over charging will cut off at 15V. Included is a free 12V 10 Amp (A) LiFePO4 compatible charger that charges at the recommended 14.4 Volts
  • Certifications: All DL batteries are UN 38 certified. Dakota Lithium's cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Meets all US & International regulations for air, ground, train, & marine transport.
  • Protection: Contains a smart BMS temperature cutoff that prevents charging when cells are below 0'F/C and protects the battery.
