The Garmin LiveScope™ 2 Transducer LVS44 is the next generation of Garmin's award-winning live-scanning sonar, delivering real-time views of fish, bait, and structure with 20% greater resolution and 25% more range than the previous LiveScope Plus system. Built for anglers who want to cover more water, the LVS44 tracks bottom and reveals fish out to 250 feet from the boat, with improved target separation and noise reduction that make it easier to distinguish your lure from the fish tracking it. Fast processing speeds mean you see fish react in real time — so you know exactly when to set the hook.

Installation is simpler than ever thanks to a streamlined direct-connect design that eliminates the black box entirely: the LVS44 plugs straight into your compatible Garmin chartplotter and power source. Integrated smart sensors add convenience on the water, including automatic water detection that shuts off sonar transmission when the transducer is lifted from the water, plus a built-in temperature sensor for accurate real-time readings. Wider sonar angles deliver expanded coverage across Forward, Down, and Perspective modes, and more than 15 vivid color palettes let you dial in the detail and clarity that fits your eyes and conditions.


The LVS44 comes ready to fish with an included trolling motor barrel mount and adjustable Perspective Mode mount, both fully tool-free for quick changes between fishing styles. It also integrates seamlessly with the broader Garmin marine ecosystem — pair it with the Spy™ Pole mount for wireless sonar control independent of your trolling motor, or combine it with the GT360UHD transducer for OneVü sonar, overlaying live imaging onto a 360-degree view around your boat.
