In the rare occasion damage has been detected, Eco Fishing Shop will take care of the replacement as long as the damage is reported within 2 hours of delivery and pictures of the damage are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic and/or able to be repaired, such as dents or scratches, EFS will provide a repair kit. If you choose to replace a kayak with minor cosmetic damage instead, then you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

Simplicity defined, the Mirage Compass is powered by the MirageDrive 180 pedal system and Kick-Up Fins. Patented Kick-Up Fin Technology takes the worry out of kayaking in shallow, structure-filled waters by automatically retracting upon impact. Experience forward and reverse pedal propulsion with Hobie's Square Tip Fins.

New for 2024 is an anodized aluminum alloy frame seat offering incredible comfort, durability, and breathability with mono mesh and ripstop nylon construction. The Compass offers maximum stability and an oversized cockpit and flat deck for standing. A sharp turning radius makes this fishing kayak nimble in tight quarters, yet able to speed over open water in a stealthy fashion.

Hobie Compass Dune Camo w/Turbo fins

I would highly recommend Eco Fishing Shop for those looking for a fishing kayak. I am new to kayak fishing after trying to fish out of my recreational Pelican sit in kayak for a bit. I liked some of the mobility but recognized I needed a kayak designed for fishing. I did some research online and found Eco to be the best suited for specialized fishing kayaks and variety. I then called and talked to Caleb about a good fit for me. I had pre-determined the kayak that fit my needs before talking to him. I challenged him to look at all the options based on the lake and slow-moving river fishing I like to do. He didn't pitch me on things, he answered me and gave me some comparisons and we vetted the final decision on my Hobie compass. The price was the best that I could find and shipping was free and the kayak came wrapped and on my door step within 2 weeks. He didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of accessories and suggested a couple basic things then learn how you might want to customize after use. Great outfit!

Great fishing boat

I fish at locations some distance from the put in sites. I’m 74 years old and those long paddles were somewhat dreaded. I thought a pedal boat may be the answer. It was. I now enjoy those trips to and from the fishing spots. I recommend the camo model for the sharper bow that knifes through the water, the retractable rudder, the power fins and the light weight. I modified mine with an anchor relay for either bow, stern, or both, 3 rod holders to the side or in front of me, and a few rope ties at places that are useful. My boat arrived in Virginia in excellent condition and now it’s rigged to my satisfaction. I recommend the boat and the vendor highly.
