The C-TUG Kayak & Canoe Cart is made in Napier, New Zealand. It is great value for money and will give many years of service in the sand, salt, and sun of the harshest marine environments.

Wholly constructed from UV resistant, non-corroding engineering plastics, and stainless steel, it will carry up to 120kg (260lbs) and comes with puncture-free, hi grip wheels, you’ll never get a flat tire, and don’t need to carry a pump.

not for the bigfish 108

Eco fishing had a c-tug for the kayak and i ordered it with the kayak. I believe it's the only cart they offer. So i purchased the cart thinking it was meant for the the bigfish 108. I was excited to try out my new kayak for the first time, but after securing the cart to the kayak it kept shifting from one side where the kayak was rubbing on one wheel of the cart.it was a frustrating ordeal. The pads on the cart are to small for the hull of the bigfish 108.luckly i came across a YouTube video where the cart is modified to fit the bigfish108.it works well modified but i think it still to small to handle the weigh of the bigfish 108. as i pull it i hear the wheels squeaking.

Simple to use when the wheels stay on. The wheels fall off very easily making set up not so fun. Does work well once together but one slight change in angle and the wheels can fall off. My first kayak cart so I’m not impressed overall.

I love my kayak, c-cart, but your shipping method sucks!!!! It took a month to get items, no way to track items, but you had no problem taking my money the very first day!!!! This item was in stock and took 2 weeks befor you received it in your location. To me thats not in stock!!!!! I almoxtcame toick it up!!! What a joke!!!!

still like the product

I purchased two and at the time this seemed like the best product. I also paid full price at the time lol,
but I only have two issues with the product
1) at the time of purchase there were no options for sand wheels that I was aware of, glad I was able to buy two sets. (just wheels)
2) there is not much room for the sportsman to stay centered, so I place pvc pipes (I recommend the 4") this will allow you to center the kayak during transport. just use ties to secure them x style.
I like to place the wheels under the handle and with the pdl in place, it's centered and it's an easy pull or push.

I got this for a NuCanoe Unlimited and ended up getting one for all my kayaks. So simple to use and pack. What a back and hull save. Thanks again EcoFishingShop. One stop shop for sure.

Ok I guess

Bought this cart for a feel free 13.6 also got the sand track tires. Not happy at all with the sand wheels they suck for any surface other than sand if your pulling for any distance. Gonna change out wheels and see if it’s any better. Not to mention the squeaking from the wheels can be heard three counties away. Honestly I’d shop around Its way to expensive to have to modify to make it practical.

It does work well. Hard to put together with the instructions and the kick stand could use some reinforcement. I think the price is a bit high for the quality.

A must for a big kayak like Feelfree Lure II, But, does not fit Perception Outlaw 11.5 very well

The lure 2 is very heavy to move, even with the wheel in the keel. The C Tug, when placed toward the middle of the kayak, makes it feel like pulling something extremely light. Could not do without this product.
As for the Perception outlaw, it works but does not fit well. The kayak sits lopsided, but I will still use it. As long as it gets me where I’m going, I don’t care it it sets a little off center.

Does Not Work for the Topwater 106 pdl

We have 4 kayaks in my household.
3 of them are light enough to carry to and from most of the places we need to get them to.
I bought this Railblaza CTug specifically for the Topwater 106pdl that I had just t ordered at the same time..I had heard some really good things about this cart, and it looked like a really nice design, so I ordered it without checking into how well it would work with the Topwater.
The thing is, it absolutely does not work at all with this kayak without mods.
After the maiden voyage of my new kayak I attempted to load it onto the CTug and discovered that it would not sit on the cart no matter where on the hull I tried to put it.
It would work with some mods but I don't want to be bothered with spending the money and time to mod a brand new cart that wasn't inexpensive to begin with.
I ended up keeping it to use with the other three kayaks because it really is a nice cart for those.
It's sturdy and lightweight, assembles and disassembles quickly and easily, and can be stowed in a relatively small space.
I really wish it would have worked with my kayak.
I decided to order a different cart that's better suited to the Topwater. But for anyone who's kayak will fit comfortably on the Railblaza CTug, this is a great cart.

Awesome

C tug cart is awesome. When I bought my kayak, I already had one but it didn't fit well. I ordered the C Tug and my problems are gone. It fits the bottom of my kayak perfectly and I can get to and from the water much faster. The strap that came with it is even wider and stronger that the first one. No second thoughts on this purchase.
Will I buy from these guys again? You betcha

light weight

its is light weight, brakes down to stow away easily in the kayak to take along with on trips. The sand tires do great with traversing across uneven terrain.
I do have a little trouble with it contouring and centering on the bottom of the old town Sportsman 106PDL, also the straps are a little bit of a pain to get set up.

Deceptively useful

Initially it was difficult to use (no real guidance on use) even on a smaller kayak which wasnt the intended use. When I received my Oldtown MK106, it was impossible until I figured out how it works!

If is was not for the C-Tug Cart I am sure I would have thrown my back out. Once I get my Old Town Predator PDL loaded up with everything the C-Tug Cart saves the day for sure!

This kart works great

I’ve only used it a couple time on my old town 120pdl. But over typical beach sand( haven’t tried on that super loose sand) and rocky gravel it’s worked great . With my kayak you do have to find a sweet spot but it only takes a couple seconds to make sure you’re on it once you know where it’s at

Not meant for the sportsman

In theory this is an excellent design. That said this does not take into consideration the shape of the hull. Specifically for the sportsman PDL 106. It is constantly battling itself to stay upright due to it not staying level with the kayak. It’s actually quite frustrating. I had to mount a few pieces of 2x4 as a sort of tilt regulator & to keep it level. Awesome design, just not for this kayak.

Some Assembly Required

I received the C-Tug Cart put it together according to the instructions that are very minimum however, the straps had no instruction at all so I google the instructions for the straps and found a youtube video that helped greatly. My suggestion to the developer spend a couple of pennies on the instructions or at least add the link of the online video to the instruction sheet. You will spend money on creating the video once verses spending on countles paper generated for instructions that are not very complete. Thank you the product does work as advertised.
