The KISTLER Magnesium Fishing Reels are built for smooth, hassle-free casting, so anglers don't have to worry about backlashes or line twists. Hard-brass gears give the reel the strength to hold up under demanding fishing conditions while keeping a smooth retrieve, a long cast, and reliable drag over years of use.
Both the spinning and casting models use a graphite frame body, a double anodized aluminum spool, and EVA foam handle knobs. The casting model adds a hard brass worm shaft, pinion, and drive gear, magnetic brake control, and star drag adjustment, while the spinning model adds an anti-reverse bearing and a braid-ready spool.
The Magnesium lineup comes in two configurations: a Spinning reel in Size 2500 with a 6.1:1 gear ratio, 7 stainless steel ball bearings, and left/right interchangeable retrieve, weighing about 8 oz, and a Casting reel in Size 100 with a 7.3:1 gear ratio, 6+1 stainless steel ball bearings, and left-hand retrieve, weighing about 7 oz.

KISTLER backs the Magnesium reels with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
KISTLER's product page does not publish the full written terms, coverage exclusions, or claims process for this warranty, so we can't state those specifics here. Contact us and we'll get you the exact terms before you buy if that's a deciding factor.
