We recommend these for larger kayaks as they stabilize and hold larger boats better than traditional carriers while also easing the loading process. Transports one kayak. Made in the USA.

Malone Trailer Kayak bunks

When I purchased the Malone trailer, it came with cradle carriers which worked great for our two paddle kayaks. Recently we purchased an old town peddle kayak and purchased bunks to help keep the kayak stable on the trailer. The bunks could have been possibly made from a plastic board like trex to make it less liable to warping. Although the weight might be a factor for not going with trex. The bunks work better than the cradle carriers and so far are adequate.
