The Remigo One Neo 4HP Electric Outboard is a powerful, streamlined electric propulsion system designed for small boats, dinghies, tenders, and sailboats that need dependable performance without the hassle of gas engines. Delivering approximately 3 HP-equivalent output in standard 1,000 W operation and approximately 4 HP-equivalent output temporarily in 1,500 W Boost mode, the Neo provides smooth, quiet acceleration and efficient cruising while maintaining the sleek, integrated design that makes Remigo motors so easy to use. The motor, battery, and electronics are all housed within a single compact unit, eliminating the need for external battery packs, wiring, or complicated setups.
Constructed with a durable marine-grade aluminum body, the Remigo One Neo is built to handle harsh saltwater environments while remaining lightweight and portable. The integrated lithium battery provides reliable runtime for harbor maneuvering, short trips, and tender transport, and it can be recharged easily from standard power sources. An intuitive control interface and onboard display show battery status and the selected power level, allowing boaters to monitor the motor at a glance.
With its balanced carry handle, adjustable shaft design, and quick-mount transom bracket, the Remigo One Neo is simple to install and transport between boats. Appropriately sized tenders, dinghies, inflatables, small sailboats, small fishing boats and similar lightweight craft. It is an electric alternative to a small gas outboard on that kind of hull, and it also serves as auxiliary power on a sailboat and for running to and from a mooring.
Its standard operating output is 1,000 watts, roughly equivalent to a 3 HP outboard. Boost mode reaches 1,500 watts, roughly equivalent to 4 HP, but Boost is a temporary setting rather than the motor’s continuous output — so plan around the 3 HP-equivalent figure and treat Boost as reserve.
Whether it suits your particular boat depends on the boat’s size, its loaded weight, the hull design, the transom dimensions, the conditions you run in and the requirements where you boat. It does not fit every small boat. Tell us the boat, its length and roughly what it weighs loaded, and we will confirm whether the Neo suits it before you order.
Eight items come in the box: the RemigoOne Neo motor, the transom mounting bracket, the standard 5A AC charger, two magnetic safety keys, the adjustment tools, a spare propeller pin, the owner’s manual, and the warranty certificate.
Not included unless our listing for this product says otherwise: the wireless remote, the fast AC charger, the DC charger and solar-charging equipment. The motor is fully usable out of the box without any of them — the standard AC charger and the two-button interface are all you need to charge it and run it.
Those optional pieces are sold separately, and you can see the ones we carry on our Remigo collection. If you are unsure whether you need the fast charger or the DC charger, ask us first; for most buyers charging overnight on the included unit is enough.
Standard maximum output is 1,000 watts, giving approximately 31 kg of static thrust (about 68 lb). Boost raises that to 1,500 watts and approximately 36 kg of static thrust (about 79 lb).
There are ten regular power levels plus Boost. Boost is a short-term setting with two limits worth knowing before you rely on it: it is available only when the battery is above roughly 40 percent charge, and it disengages automatically after about one minute, after which the motor returns to its normal operating range.
That makes Boost useful for a specific job — punching through a chop, holding against a current, getting off a lee shore — rather than for cruising. Thrust is not a speed rating, and it does not convert into a speed for a particular boat: what you actually see depends on the hull, how it is loaded and the conditions on the day.
It depends on the power setting more than anything else, and then on the boat’s design, how heavily it is loaded, wind, current, water conditions, how clean the hull is and how you run the motor. Any single number would be misleading.
In benchmark testing on an approximately 3 meter / 10 foot inflatable carrying two people, the figures are a useful place to start planning: at full power, about 1 hour and about 5 nautical miles; at cruising power, about 3 to 4 hours and about 12 to 14 nautical miles; at an economical setting, about 10 to 15 hours and about 30 nautical miles.
Treat those as planning examples, not guarantees. The pattern they show is the useful part: easing off the power buys a great deal of distance, and the difference between full power and an economical setting is roughly five nautical miles against roughly thirty. Plan around the speed you actually intend to travel at, and leave yourself margin to get home.
An integrated 1,085 Wh lithium-ion battery sealed inside the motor body, running at 36 V nominal and 42 V maximum. There is no separate battery to buy, carry or wire.
The included standard AC charger works from ordinary 100–240 V household power and takes about six hours. An optional fast AC charger brings that down to about three hours, and an optional DC charger running from a 12–24 V system takes about ten to twelve hours. The motor can also be charged while it is running, which is useful on a boat with a house bank or a solar panel.
Use only compatible, approved Remigo charging equipment. A charger that happens to fit the socket is not necessarily compatible, and running an integrated pack from unapproved equipment can damage it. If you want to charge from a boat system or from solar, talk to us about the right unit for it.
Measure two things before you order: your transom height and your transom thickness. The shaft adjusts steplessly over approximately 15 to 23 inches, and the bracket suits a transom of approximately 12 to 65 mm thick — roughly half an inch to two and a half inches.
The bracket clamps on without tools. Beyond that the motor gives you four manual trim positions, manual tilt and lockable steering, so you can set the running angle and lock the motor straight when you want it to hold a course.
Within that range one motor will move between boats, which is much of the appeal. Outside it, it will not fit; there is no universal fitment here. If your transom is unusual in shape, or you are close to either end of the thickness range, send us a photo and the measurements and we will check it before you buy.
Through a two-button interface on the motor, with ten regular power settings plus Boost, and forward and reverse both selected manually. Pressing both buttons at once stops the motor immediately. A magnetic safety key acts as the kill switch — wear it, and the motor stops if the key leaves the unit.
The display shows battery status and the power level you have selected. It does not measure or report boat speed; there is no speed sensor in the motor. Tilt and trim are manual, and the steering locks.
The wireless remote is optional and is not included unless our listing for this product explicitly says so. The motor is completely usable without it; the remote simply lets you drive from the bow or the helm instead of from the transom.
Two figures, and it matters which one you plan around: the outboard alone is approximately 13 kg / 28.5 lb, and the motor with its mounting bracket is approximately 15.5 kg / 34 lb. The 34 lb figure is the one to use for carrying it down a dock and lifting it onto a transom as a complete unit.
For a motor with its battery already inside, that is light. It is still 34 lb held out over a transom, which is a different proposition from 34 lb carried at your side, and not every buyer will be able to lift or install it without help. Take it with two hands on the handle, and get a second pair of hands if your freeboard is high.
Because the battery is integrated, the motor is not permitted aboard a passenger aircraft. Any commercial shipment must comply with lithium-battery and dangerous-goods requirements, so contact us before arranging transportation. A damaged battery or motor must never be shipped at all, and we recommend keeping the original packaging, which is what the motor should go back in if it ever needs to travel for service.
Rinse the motor with fresh water after every trip in salt water, and inspect the propeller, the shear pin, the mounting hardware and the sacrificial anodes regularly, replacing anodes once they are worn. There is no gasoline, no oil change and no carburetor work — but this is not a motor you can ignore.
The motor carries three zinc anodes, which suit general and saltwater use. Magnesium anodes are for exclusively freshwater operation and must never be used in salt water, where they waste away quickly and stop protecting the housing. The anodes are the part people forget: they corrode by design so the aluminum body does not.
For storage, leave the battery at roughly 50 to 80 percent charge, check it about every three months and top it back into that band, and keep it somewhere dry and ventilated at ideally 15 to 25 °C / 59 to 77 °F. Do not leave the motor in a hot vehicle or any other high-temperature space. Its IP67 rating gives protection against water ingress — it is not permission to store the motor wet or leave it sitting in water.
This motor is covered by a two-year limited warranty against qualifying material and manufacturing defects, running from the date of purchase. Keep three things from day one: your proof of purchase, the warranty certificate from the box, and the serial numbers on the motor. A claim moves much faster with all three in hand.
Product registration is recommended but optional. Registering can simplify support and safety-recall communication, but it is not a condition of coverage and it does not affect the validity of your warranty, which is valid from the date of purchase whether or not the motor has been registered.
