A great decision

A great accessory for my PA14. Super light and easy to use. I especially like the lightweight, long lasting battery which takes up very little room on the yak. Do your knees a favor and get one of these for those long trips out and back.

great for canoes too

Purchase and delivery was so fast and easy with EcoFishing's personalized touch. I was able to fashion a simple bracket from angle aluminum (Home Depot) to mount the 403AC on my canoes, both a tandem and a solo. The motor pushes the larger canoe along at 6 mph if I open up the throttle. Steering is controlled by two cables hooked to the top and bottom of a simple lever that pivots in the middle. This lets me go much farther than a 78 year old with a torn shoulder could otherwise paddle.
