We have secured a new partnership with a white glove delivery service that will ensure ZERO Damaged Kayaks. You will no longer be required to sign and inspect your kayak. But do not worry, this carrier has a 99.97% damage-free rate and they have assured us of this. In the rare occasion damage has been detected, Eco Fishing Shop will take care of the replacement as long as the damage is reported within 2 hours of delivery and pictures of the damage are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic and/or able to be repaired, such as dents or scratches, EFS will provide a repair kit. If you choose to replace a kayak with minor cosmetic damage instead, then you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

The Mossa 97: 9 ft 7 in by 40.5 in, 66 lb hull, 132 lb rigged, 400 lb published capacity, 87 in track, 2.5 gal XPDL dry storage.

The Mossa 128: 12 ft 8 in by 37 in, 93 lb hull, 164 lb rigged, 580 lb published capacity, 148 in track, 26 gal bow storage including an 11 gal tub, 2 gal XPDL dry storage.

Neither hull carries a published water-condition rating, so choose on dimensions, weight and capacity.

What is the XPDL drive on the VoyaX Mossa 97?

The VoyaX Mossa 97 uses the XPDL drive, a single unit that combines manual pedaling, electric propulsion, SpotHold position control and electronic 360-degree steering, so there is no separate trolling motor to rig and no steering cables to maintain.

Because the kayak has electric propulsion, it may be treated as a motorized vessel. Registration and operating rules vary, so review the state boating laws where you paddle.

How does SpotHold work on the VoyaX Mossa 97?

SpotHold on the VoyaX Mossa 97 is a position-holding function built into the XPDL drive. It uses satellite positioning to work against wind and current, and you engage it from the seat side Knob 360 control.

It holds position by powering the drive, so it is not a substitute for an anchor and will not keep an exact spot in every condition. The ThumbCon wearable remote is optional and sold separately.

The VoyaX Mossa 97 runs three drive modes: Manual Pedal for leg power, Sync Assist, which adds electric torque to each pedal stroke, and Full Electric. Powered reverse is available.

Stored capacity is not the same as time on the water. Runtime changes with propulsion mode, assist level, current, wind, load, temperature and battery condition, and pedaling for part of the day stretches it.

The drive and battery lift out, letting you move it in stages.

For roof transport, use the lowest weight limit among your vehicle roof, crossbars and rack, then account for your loading equipment and what you can safely lift. A cart or trailer may be more practical.

What warranty applies to the VoyaX Mossa 97?

The VoyaX Mossa 97 published warranty provides five years for the hull; two years for the XPDL drive, smart batteries and chargers; one year for listed electronics and structural accessories; and 30 days for listed wearable parts and consumables. Coverage applies only to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable.

Coverage begins the day after delivery with valid proof of purchase, otherwise 90 days after warehouse shipment, and only when confirmed bound to your personal account.

Registration and binding aid support but replace neither requirement.

Claims use the VoyaX work order system and warranty statement. XPDL faults to VoyaX support or us, other components to us as selling dealer.

What accessories fit the VoyaX Mossa 97?

The VoyaX Mossa 97 carries 87 in of wraparound track, which accepts track-mounted accessories. Onboard power for a fish finder requires the applicable optional adapter, and a fish finder is not included with the standard kayak unless a specific offer says so.

Fitting a third-party accessory does not by itself void the whole warranty. The terms exclude damage a third-party accessory causes, and damage the kayak causes to it. Ask us before drilling or wiring anything.
