The PowerHouse Lithium VR28 Standard Kit bundles everything needed to wire up a forward-facing sonar black box off an existing 24V or 36V trolling motor battery system: the 28V Forward Facing Sonar Converter itself, a Perko on/off switch, a 10 AWG fuse holder, and both a grounding lug and a positive lug. Buying the parts separately means tracking down a switch and fuse holder that match the converter's 10 AWG wiring; this kit puts the matched set in one box.

Like the standalone converter, the VR28 in this kit steps power down or up to a regulated 28.4V at 10A for a Garmin LiveScope or Lowrance Active Target black box, and it is not rated for a head unit.
