The Bixpy J-2 Outboard Kit is Bixpy's second major iteration to its, now famous, jet propulsion system that has motorized thousands of kayaks, paddle boards, dinghies, float-tubes and all kinds of personal water craft over the last 4 years. This kit combines the awesome power of the new Bixpy J-2 Motor with the finely tuned, waterproof, wireless PP-378 Outboard Battery to power virtually any personal watercraft on the market.
Whether you want to motorize your kayak, canoe, paddleboard, float-tube, dinghy, inflatable pack-raft, or any number of other small watercraft, the Bixpy Outboard Kit is your answer. Flip & Lock Fin Adapter
If your paddle board or kayak has a Flip & Lock Fin Box, this Adapter will allow you to attach the J-2 Motor onto your Paddle Board or Kayak within minutes. If you already own a Bixpy J-1 or J-2 Motor and standard attachment, and would like to get a Flip & Lock fin, this is what you’ll need.

Flat Surface Bracket
The Flat Surface Bracket allows you to take your DIY projects to a new level. Using this piece, you can mount your Bixpy Motor to virtually any flat surface you can imagine. All you need is 4 bolts or screws! This is a great tool for pod mounts on kayaks or a variety of other applications where you need to vertically attach the Bixpy Motor to a flat surface. If you have a J-2 Motor, this adapter will simply attach directly to your J-2 motor. J-1 Motors will require a Standard Attachment to adapt to the motor before attaching this adapter.

DIY Fin Adapter for Inflatables
If you own an inflatable kayak or an inflatable stand up paddleboard (or inflatable anything) and would like to motorize it, you now have the perfect companion: the DIY Fin Adapter for Inflatables. For inflatables that don’t have a fin box/plate, you can glue the provided flexible fin plate to the bottom of your vessel using PVC or urethane adhesive glue. Then using the provided Slide & Lock adapter, you'll be able to easily slide your Bixpy J-2 Motor onto your newly installed fin box.
This fin box does NOT ship with adhesive as you will need to select your own adhesive depending on what you will be installing to. The fin box material is PVC. So if you're glueing to a PVC surface, you can use a PVC to PVC adhesive. If you're gluing your fin box to another type of surface, you should do some research and make sure to use the appropriate adhesive.

ThruHull™ Pod Adapter - Bonafide Kayaks
No Drilling. No holes. No hassle! The ThruHull™ Pod Adapter for Bonafide Kayaks clips into the Dry Pod opening of your Bonafide kayak in seconds. The adapter comes with the original Bonafide Dry Pod, allowing you to store and quickly access your gear or personal items. The Bixpy Motor mounts on the bottom with only a backing plate inside the pod so you lose minimal space in the Dry Pod and can continue to use it for its intended purpose as you motor in your Bonafide kayak. This adapter also features a motor shield that protects the motor in case of a light impact.
Please note: installation of a motor on the pod will not leave enough space for installing a transducer as intended.

Power Pole Adapter
The Power Pole WillFit™ Adapter allows you to quickly and easily add a Bixpy Motor to your kayak using your standard Micro Power Pole adapter slot. If your kayak accommodates a Micro Anchor Power Pole, you can simply screw this adapter onto your Power Pole in seconds - no tools required! If your kayak is Power Pole ready, but requires a special mounting plate (i.e. some Hobie® Pro Anglers, Wilderness Atak, Native Propel, etc.) you will need that mounting plate from your kayak manufacturer to make installation easier.
If your kayak does not have a power pole mount, this is still an excellent, stable option for mounting a Bixpy Motor to your kayak as long as you have a fairly flat area in the rear of your kayak to accommodate the adapter’s foot print.
Pole Steering as shown in some of the pictures is NOT included in this adapter kit and can be purchased separately.

Hobie® Twist & Stow Rudder Adapter
No holes, no kayak modifications and simple Plug and Play installation! The Hobie® Twist & Stow Rudder Adapter replaces your Hobie® rudder with a Bixpy Rudder and enable you to attache your J-2 Motor to your kayak's rudder assembly. Steering is done using your Hobie® steering system.
Please note, this rudder adapter is ONLY compatible with Hobie® Twist and Stow rudders. That includes: Hobie® Sport Kayaks, Hobie® Revolution Kayaks, Hobie® Outbacks (pre 2019) and Hobie® Oasis Kayaks.
Not recommended on Inflatable Hobie® Kayaks and this adapter won't fit Hobie® Pro Angler, Passport, Compass, 2019+ Outbacks and Island Series kayaks.

With the Transom Adapter, you can attach your Bixpy Motor to virtually any watercraft with a flat vertical mounting surface in seconds. This includes most dinghies, some kayaks, personal pontoons and a variety of other watercraft. The aluminum pipe will adjust to accommodate virtually any depth to meet your needs.
This kit also includes a complete steering mechanism that will allow you to steer the motor for full control of your kayak.

Universal Kayak Adapter
With the Universal Kayak Adapter, you can attach your Bixpy J-2 Motor to virtually any kayak, canoe or small watercraft. The aluminum pipes will adjust to accommodate virtually any length and configuration, and the mechanism includes an ingenious adjustment arm to accommodate a wide variety of slopes in the back of various watercraft.
As every kayak is slightly different in shape and configuration, you will have to do a little bit of installation with this adapter, but rest assured, this adapter ships complete with all the nuts and bolts you’ll need to get the job done. This is a more complex adapter, requiring higher levels of DIY ability, so it's only recommended if none of our other Adapters fit your kayak and you're comfortable taking on the task of installation or have access to a professional installer.

Universal Rudder Adapter
The Vibe Bixpy-Ready Gravity Rudder is the first rudder in the market specifically designed to accept a motor as an option. The bottom portion of the rudder unscrews in seconds to allow you to attache your J-2 Motor directly onto the rudder.
The Vibe Bixpy-Ready Gravity Rudder offers a molded 10mm stainless steel pin that offers easy installation and not only fits all Vibe kayaks but can replace most other manufacturer rudders in seconds! It also offers a robust double hinged, 90° Slide & Stow mechanism that gets the rudder completely out of the water in a heartbeat!
The Vibe Bixpy-Ready Gravity Rudder also features a gravity driven locking mechanism that allows the rudder to lock into place when motorized in forward or reverse. However, since the locking only occurs with gravity, the rudder easily “unlocks” and pops up to protect your motor and rudder in shallow water.

The Hobie® Pro Angler / Compass / Outback† Adapter allows you to quickly and easily add a Bixpy Motor to your kayak using your standard Micro Power Pole hole adapter slot. 2019 or newer Hobie® Outbacks already have the screw inserts to accommodate this adapter - so all you need is the adapter. However, for Pro Angler and Compass kayaks, you will need to purchase a Hobie Power Pole Plate before installing this adapter.

The Hobie® Pro Angler Power Pole Adapter allows you to quickly and easily add a Bixpy J-2 Motor to your kayak using your standard Micro Power Pole hole adapter slot. This adapter comes with the Hobie® Pro Angler Power Pole Mounting Bracket Kit, which fits both the Pro Angler 12 and 14 and is designed to allow a Power Pole Micro Anchor or the Bixpy Power Pole Adapter to be installed on the rear of your kayak.
