Eco Fishing Shop COVID-19 Update
Here at Eco Fishing Shop, we want to treat our customers in the best way possible. Due to COVID-19 there has been a large demand in the amount of orders and calls.
We will give you an update on where our current operations are below.
1. Call volumes are very high and there is no guarantee you will be connected
If you would like to place an order over the phone, please call 844-987-5777 extension 1 and one of our sales reps will be happy to assist you. If you have questions regarding an existing order please email email@example.com and we will give you a call at a convenient time. Live chat is currently operating from 8am-4pm CT M-F. Email will continue as normal.
2. There are some delays for shipping times on certain products and we are doing our best
We want you to have the best buying experience possible. Unfortunately at this time, our communication is backlogged and we are trying our best to serve you. Please be aware our company is under a large amount of pressure placing orders and coordinating shipping with our suppliers. Patience for shipping times are much appreciated.
3. COVID-19 Cancellation Policy
We understand that unexpected things come up, so we always work with people as best we can. Due to COVID-19 our business as well as many others have had to adjust to working in a safe & compliant manner with health regulations. Due to decreased supply and increased shipping costs we have had to adjust to mitigate damages. Beginning March 1st 2020, if you cancel within 48 hours then you will receive a full refund. If you cancel after 48 hours & we have already processed your payment, you may be liable for the payment processing fee incurred on our end (3.9% of total order amount). In this scenario, you will be refunded for your order, minus the 3.9%. Please understand - we do not keep this to line our pockets; this fee is charged to us by payment processors when we process your payment and it does not get refunded to us by them in the event of a cancelled order/refund.
If you decide to cancel your order after it has already shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual shipping costs to you and back to the manufacturer. You will also be liable for the payment processing fees incurred on our end (3.9% of total order amount).
Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. Depending on your financial institution, refunds may take up to 1-2 weeks to return to your account. We typically see refunds be returned in less than 1 week, but this depends on your financial institution and is out of our control.
4. Delays on Kayak Shipments
While Kayaks have been the biggest product in the US during lockdown, we have seen a phenomenal number of orders from people looking to enjoy the water and outdoors! This is a wonderful initiative to stay safe. However the nature of such high volume of demand, has caused some brands to be delayed and we appreciate your patience in this matter. We highly encourage pre-orders as this will get you your kayak in the fastest manner possible.
5. Remote Work - Stay Safe
At EFS, we are currently working remotely and spending limited time in our warehouse. We are doing our best to stay safe and help you all from our remote locations. We intend to ensure full safety of our staff until we can return to an office environment, where we can work together as a team once again.
