In the rare occasion damage has been detected, Eco Fishing Shop will take care of the replacement as long as the damage is reported within 2 hours of delivery and pictures of the damage are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic and/or able to be repaired, such as dents or scratches, EFS will provide a repair kit. If you choose to replace a kayak with minor cosmetic damage instead, then you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.  

The Eco Fishing Shop definition of damage is when the kayak is delivered in a condition that compromises the hull and is confirmed with the vendor that would void the warranty.

This boat is motor-ready rather than motor-included, with features like a DC battery box, mounting options for either a bow foot-controlled or a transom-mounted trolling motor, a wide, open deck layout, and a steering skeg. Should you choose the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro or the 360 Angler?

Choose the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro if you plan to run a motor. It is configured as a motor-ready platform: a universal foot-controlled motor-mounting plate on the bow, a transom motor bracket at the stern, a DC battery box with 12-volt accessory plug-ins and a battery meter, a retractable skeg and a more open deck arrangement.

It does not include a trolling motor, a propulsion battery, a Flex Drive or any pedal drive. The Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Angler includes the Flex Drive Mark IV instead and moves under pedal power as delivered. Neither model is better overall.

What is included with the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro, and what is not?

The Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro includes the Millennium Seat, the universal bow motor-mounting plate, the transom motor bracket, the DC battery box with 12-volt plug-ins and a battery meter, the retractable skeg, integrated wheels, rod stagers on both hulls, four hatches with two storage bins, and the padded standing deck.

Not included: a trolling motor, a propulsion battery, a Flex Drive or pedal drive, the YakPower control system, and the Tournament Package accessories. The battery box is a housing with connections, not a battery.

Where can a motor be mounted on the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro?

The Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro has two separate mounting locations. The universal foot-controlled motor-mounting plate on the bow supports compatible bow-mounted configurations, and the transom bracket at the stern is for a stern-mounted motor. The transom bracket does not mount a motor at the bow.

Universal describes the plate, not compatibility with every motor. Mounting pattern, shaft length, thrust, voltage and control type must match the model you choose, and no verified model-specific limit is currently available, so we do not publish one.

GPS anchoring or Spot-Lock depends on the motor you select; the mounting plate does not provide it. Contact Eco Fishing Shop before selecting the motor or mounting hardware.

What does the DC battery box on the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro do?

The DC battery box on the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro is a housing and connection point intended to simplify installing a suitable deep-cycle battery, with built-in 12-volt accessory plug-ins and an integrated battery meter for reading state of charge.

No battery is included. The box does not itself create a 24-volt propulsion system, and not every trolling motor can be connected to the accessory plug-ins. The selected motor's voltage, circuit protection, wiring and battery requirements control the installation, and one battery arrangement is not correct for every motor. What does the retractable skeg on the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro do?

The retractable skeg helps the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro maintain its course while operating under motor power. It is a tracking aid rather than a steering system, and it is not automatic: directional control comes from the motor, and tracking still varies with wind, current, load and trim.

What are the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro's dimensions, weight and capacity?

The Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro is 13 feet 4 inches long, 48 inches wide and 20 inches high, with a published capacity of 500 pounds, in rotomolded polyethylene with an anodized marine-grade aluminum frame.

Two weights are published: 120 pounds without the seat, 140 pounds with it. Use the 140-pound figure for transport planning unless the seat is removed.

The published capacity does not specify how the hull and installed components are counted, so count yourself, any motor, battery and gear aboard, then leave a conservative margin.

How do the twin hulls and 48-inch width of the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro affect fishing?

The Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro is a twin-hull platform 48 inches wide with a spacious open deck and a large padded standing pad. That footprint gives the boat its fishing space and room to work around installed equipment.

Keep heavy items such as the battery, crate and cooler low and spread between the hulls. No standing-specific limit or sea-state qualification is published for this platform, so do not treat the 48-inch width as confirmation that standing is appropriate in a given condition.

How should the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro be transported and stored?

The integrated wheels move the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro between vehicle and launch over firm ground. They are not a road-trailer substitute and do not make launching a one-person task.

At 48 inches wide and 140 pounds configured, a trailer, truck bed or properly rated transport system is practical, within the vehicle, rack and securement-system ratings.

Store it out of direct sun and rinse the hull, frame, hardware and skeg with fresh water after saltwater use. Maintain any separately installed motor as its instructions direct.

What warranty and registration requirements apply to the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro?

Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Pro watercraft purchased on or after September 1, 2021 carry a tiered three-year limited warranty, original purchaser only, not transferable, proof of purchase required. Year one is repair or replacement at no charge with free shipping, year two a replacement build at 70% off retail plus shipping, year three at 50% of MSRP plus shipping. A trolling motor, battery, electronics or accessories you add carry their own manufacturers' terms rather than one combined Blue Sky Boatworks warranty. Registration, titling, lighting and PFD rules follow your state boating laws.
