But do not worry, this carrier has a 99.97% damage-free rate and they have assured us of this. In the rare occasion damage has been detected, Eco Fishing Shop will take care of the replacement as long as the damage is reported within 2 hours of delivery and pictures of the damage are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic and/or able to be repaired, such as dents or scratches, EFS will provide a repair kit. If you choose to replace a kayak with minor cosmetic damage instead, then you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.  

The Eco Fishing Shop definition of damage is when the kayak is delivered in a condition that compromises the hull and is confirmed with the vendor that would void the warranty.

The Outpost 128 PDL is the larger option if you need more deck space.

The CAJO Outpost 100 PDL has a maximum capacity of 400 pounds, and that figure is the complete operating load rather than a paddler allowance. Count the occupant, the seat, any pedal drive and mount, a motor, a battery, electronics, tackle and cargo, and leave a safety margin rather than loading to the maximum. This is the lowest capacity of the three rigid Pro Series hulls, so check your own loadout before choosing it for a motor-and-battery build.

What is included with the CAJO Outpost 100 PDL, and does it include a pedal drive?

The CAJO Outpost 100 PDL base configuration does not include a pedal drive. The base kayak includes the hull with the Horizon Pro Seat, three Power Plates, two in-hull storage hatches, four 3600-series tackle-tray slots, fish-finder and transducer mounting provision, and the Fatback Traverse Rudder System. A drive ships only when you select an option that expressly includes it, a fin drive needs its own mount, and no paddle is included.

The CAJO Outpost 100 PDL can be paddled, pedaled or motorized. The rigid hulls take the CAJO Traverse Pedal Drive, which runs a 10:1 gear ratio with instant forward and reverse, a Prop Lock system, a Shaft Lock, an integrated rod stager and quick-release pins, and carries five-year coverage. A compatible fin drive requires its own separate mount. No drive weight or minimum operating depth is published, so ask us if shallow-water clearance matters where you fish.

How does the CAJO Outpost 100 PDL accommodate motors and electronics?

The CAJO Outpost 100 PDL includes the Horizon Pro Seat, two in-hull storage hatches and four 3600-series tackle-tray slots, so trays sit in dedicated positions rather than sliding around the deck. The hatches are sealed in-hull compartments and the slots take standard 3600-series trays. We stock matching waterproof 3600 tackle trays separately.

How should the CAJO Outpost 100 PDL be transported, cleaned and stored?

The CAJO Outpost 100 PDL should be rinsed with fresh water after saltwater use, dried, and stored out of prolonged direct sunlight. Support the hull evenly, because rotomolded polyethylene can deform where it rests on a single hard point over months. Use properly rated straps per your kayak, rack and vehicle instructions, tight enough to hold without visibly compressing the hull. Transport damage is excluded from warranty coverage. Whether you can load it alone depends on your vehicle's roof-load limit, rack, loading aid and lifting ability; removing the seat and any drive first reduces the lift.

What warranty applies to the CAJO Outpost 100 PDL, and how are claims handled?

The CAJO Outpost 100 PDL hull carries lifetime limited coverage against manufacturing defects. Parts attached to the kayak are covered for one year, and an optional Traverse Pedal Drive carries five-year coverage, so different components run on different clocks. Proof of purchase is required and no registration deadline is published.
