Boost Mode is entered by double-pressing the power button on the throttle and raises maximum output to 750 W. It needs the battery above 50% state of charge and within its normal temperature range, and actual output also depends on battery level and system status. Boost exits automatically on a fault, if the safety switch detaches, or if Fish Mode is selected. It is a temporary high-power setting rather than a cruising one.
How is the kLite 750 charged, and how long does it take?
An AC charger is included, and a full charge from empty takes about four hours. The battery is integrated into the motor, so you charge the unit rather than removing a pack. A 12 V charger is available separately for charging away from mains power.

Can the kLite 750 be used in salt water?
Yes. The motor and battery are rated IP67. The rinse routine below is not optional if you want the motor to last, and corrosion damage is excluded from warranty.
Rinse the unit promptly with fresh water after every saltwater outing, and clean the electrical contacts with an electronic contact cleaner every two months. If you have been using the solar charger or a 12 V battery to top up on the water, disconnect that cable from the charging port before you rinse and store the motor.
Do I need to register my kayak, and what warranty covers the kLite 750?
