But do not worry, this carrier has a 99.97% damage-free rate and they have assured us of this. In the rare occasion damage has been detected, Eco Fishing Shop will take care of the replacement as long as the damage is reported within 2 hours of delivery and pictures of the damage are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic and/or able to be repaired, such as dents or scratches, EFS will provide a repair kit. If you choose to replace a kayak with minor cosmetic damage instead, then you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.  

The Eco Fishing Shop definition of damage is when the kayak is delivered in a condition that compromises the hull and is confirmed with the vendor that would void the warranty.

It is 12 ft 10 in long and 37 in wide, the widest of these six hulls, and rated to 450 lb. A padded standing platform, four flush-mounted rod holders, Uni-Track rails and oversized bow and stern storage suit long days and tournament fishing.

What propulsion equipment is included with the Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive?

The Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive includes the Overdrive Pedal System, which pedals forward and in reverse, with a two-blade prop, spring-loaded deployment assist and the Beaver Tail rudder with 8Ball hand steering.

That is the complete propulsion package supplied with the kayak. It is not a powered package: the optional 48V Motordrive and a compatible 48V battery are both separate purchases, and neither is included.

Are the 48V Motordrive and battery included with the Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive?

Neither is included with the Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive. The optional 48V Feelfree Motordrive is a separate purchase, and a compatible 48V battery is separate again: it ships with neither the kayak nor the motor.

The Motordrive inserts into the Overdrive housing and is rated for up to 40 lb of forward thrust. Voltage alone does not make a battery compatible; connector type, chemistry, capacity and charger all have to match.

Can an older 12V Motordrive be used on the Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive?

The 48V configuration of the Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive is not compatible with the older 12V Motordrive, and the 48V Motordrive is not plug-and-play with the earlier 12V battery box either.

Check which generation you have before buying a used motor: a 48V box carries a 48V decal. The Feelfree Overdrive and Motordrive support page holds the current manuals, and we will confirm a match if you send us the model details.

What does the removable 48V battery box on the Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive do?

The removable 48V battery box on the Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive is a housing and connection system, not a battery.

It holds a separately purchased compatible 48V battery and routes power from it to the compatible Motordrive and to supported onboard electronics and deck lighting. Because the box ships empty, the kayak cannot run under motor power until a compatible battery and the Motordrive are bought separately.

What wiring, lighting and electronics provisions come with the Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive?

The Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive has integrated bow-to-stern wiring for electronics installation, a redesigned transducer pole mount with a lift-and-deploy tab, and integrated LED deck lights.

Mounting comes from Uni-Track rails at the sides and rear tankwell, four flush-mounted rod holders with tie-downs, a deck rod storage area and a molded paddle park. The fish finder, transducer and battery are separate purchases.

How should the Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive be transported and maintained?

The Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive has a published weight of 124 lb excluding the Gravity Seat and pedal drive, so plan loading around the weight you will actually lift.

Roof transport depends on your vehicle, the rack and its rated dynamic load, and a workable loading method rather than the hull alone. After saltwater use, rinse the hull, drive, rudder and exposed hardware with fresh water and dry everything before storage.

What warranty and registration requirements apply to the Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive?

The Feelfree Dorado 125 Overdrive carries three years of hull coverage for defects in materials and workmanship and one year on accessories, from the date of retail purchase, under the Feelfree warranty terms.

The registration form should be submitted within 30 days, and the sales receipt retained as proof. Normal wear, misuse, improper storage, prolonged UV exposure, saltwater corrosion, structural modification and commercial or rental use are excluded. Start any warranty question with us.
