We have secured a new partnership with a white glove delivery service that will ensure ZERO Damaged Kayaks. You will no longer be required to sign and inspect your kayak. But do not worry, this carrier has a 99.97% damage-free rate and they have assured us of this. In the rare occasion damage has been detected, Eco Fishing Shop will take care of the replacement as long as the damage is reported within 2 hours of delivery and pictures of the damage are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic and/or able to be repaired, such as dents or scratches, EFS will provide a repair kit. If you choose to replace a kayak with minor cosmetic damage instead, then you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.  

The Eco Fishing Shop definition of damage is when the kayak is delivered in a condition that compromises the hull and is confirmed with the vendor that would void the warranty.

We’ve taken one of our best sellers, the Moken 10 v2, and implemented our own, state of the art pedal package to deliver you a responsive, stable and surprisingly roomy 10-foot pedal-driven kayak.

The Moken 10 PDL offers a fun, efficient and comfortable experience for a full day on the water, whether or not you bring your rod and reel. At 10' 4” in length, don't think the Moken 10 PDL is only for skinny waters and smaller paddlers. Its 35" width paired with a massive capacity of over 400lbs provides ample stability so you can pedal, fish and even stand and spot cast with confidence. Plus, the expanded deck area combined with the EZ Rider multi-position seat can accommodate taller individuals while also feeling compact and comfortable for smaller pedalers.

This kayak's shorter length also makes it easier to store and transport. Getting it to the water from your vehicle is a breeze thanks to the integrated Wheel in the Keel and the molded in handles. When you’re finished for the day, the handles double as effective tie down points.

Who is the Feelfree Moken 10 PDL best suited for?

The Feelfree Moken 10 PDL suits pedalers who want a compact hull that is quicker to store, load and launch. At 10 ft 4 in it is the shortest of these six Feelfree models, and its 35 in width gives a broad deck for that length, with 425 lb capacity.

How does the Rapid Pedal Drive on the Feelfree Moken 10 PDL differ from the Overdrive?

The Rapid Pedal Drive fitted to the Feelfree Moken 10 PDL and the Overdrive are two different platforms, not two names for one system.

Rapid Pedal Drive is built for the Moken PDL hulls and pairs with the Rapid Steering System and a Beaver Tail rudder, all included along with the multi-position EZ Rider seat. The Overdrive is used on the Lure and Dorado hulls and is the only drive the Motordrive attaches to.

Can a Motordrive be added to the Feelfree Moken 10 PDL?

The Feelfree Moken 10 PDL is not compatible with the Feelfree Motordrive. Powered propulsion runs through the Overdrive Pedal System, and the Moken PDL hulls use the Rapid Pedal Drive instead, with no documented conversion between them.

Buy a Moken PDL as a pedal kayak. If powered propulsion matters, start with an Overdrive hull such as the Feelfree Lure 13.5 Overdrive, and call us before you order.

Can you stand up and fish from the Feelfree Moken 10 PDL?

The Feelfree Moken 10 PDL has a reinforced standing platform, and its 35 in beam is the wider of the two Moken PDL hulls.

How steady it feels depends on hull shape, how the kayak is loaded, your own balance and the water on the day. Try standing in shallow, calm water close to shore first, and stay seated when wind, chop, current or boat wake makes it uncertain.

How should the Feelfree Moken 10 PDL be transported and stored?

The Feelfree Moken 10 PDL publishes two weights, 72 lb without the seat and pedal drive and 98 lb with both installed, so plan loading around the configuration you will actually lift.

The Wheel in the Keel is molded into the stern, so lifting the bow lets you roll the hull on firm ground; a wide-wheeled cart works better on sand. Keep it out of direct sun; UV exposure is a listed warranty exclusion.

What warranty and drive maintenance requirements apply to the Feelfree Moken 10 PDL?

The Feelfree Moken 10 PDL carries three years of hull coverage for defects in materials and workmanship and one year on accessories, from the date of retail purchase, under the Feelfree warranty terms.

The registration form should be submitted within 30 days and the sales receipt retained. Rinse the hull, drive, rudder and exposed hardware with fresh water after saltwater use, and follow the current Rapid Pedal Drive manual for lubrication and service intervals.
