Feelfree Moken 10 PDL Fishing Kayak

The online transaction was easy. The price was exceptional and competitive. The positive reviews won me over and I am happy I went with this shop. My kayak showed up wrapped and well taken care of. I was impressed by the level of care and attention to detail in the packaging. I have been on the water for a total of a few hours and have zero complaints with this model. Top tier shop.

I love the kayak overall, the seat is comfortable but it does feel like it’s meant to taller people. I am fairly short and when I try to adjust myself to reach the pedals the seat shifts out of position. Other than that everything else is great. The drive is smooth and fast. The kayak is compact and easy to store and I love the built in rails for attachments.

Seat is too low and latch was too low

Just wanted to let you know that my Moken 10 PDL kayak was delivered yesterday. I appreciate that it was very well wrapped and protected and there was no visible damage cosmetic or otherwise. I am 100% satisfied with the kayak and the service you guys provided. There was a small hiccup with the delivery but because the shipping was free I didn't think it fair to protest too loudly. The kayak actually arrived in Oklahoma City on the 17th but was not delivered till the 24th. Not sure why it's sat for a week about 15 mi from my location (Yukon, Ok). But it did arrive in good shape and that's what was important. I will definitely consider doing business with you guys again and will give a positive recommendation to all my friends. Thank you!

Took my Feelfree kayak out to the lake for the 1st time. I couldn't get the PDL drive to latch into position. My husband couldn't get it to latch either. Thought maybe it was the wrong latch, but after adjusting the 2 screws on the latch, we got it to work. Otherwise, it worked great and was very stable. Not a lot of storage, but can remedy that. My husband Old Town has a ton of places to put stuff, but I bought something to put my things into. It is a very nice looking kayak too. There are two straps on the bottom of my seat that I cannot figure out what they are for. Maybe just extra for strapping things in. The straps are too high for me to be comfortable, so I will try strapping the seat into those bottom straps. Just some kinks to iron out since I am new to kayaking. Thanks, Susan

Arrived without incident, everything was as expected except the little bracket that holds the pedal propeller in place didn’t fit correctly. It didn’t allow me to lock the pedal assembly in place, the holes that were welded into the kayak body were set too low which required me to drill extra holes in the bracket to get it to work. Other than that everything is great, am loving it so far.

Appreciate you all figuring out the delivery logistics. All the more reason I will seek to conduct business with you in the future.

Kayak tracks great, stable, wheel in the keel- not a fan…. Kayak is too tippy on the wheel trying to push and pull

I ended up getting a Native Slayer max 12.5 after getting this Moken 10.

this is a great kayak if you are a weekend warriro with 2 spinning rods, no graph, and minimal tackle. You get what you pay for. the rails are weak and cannot accept any accessories unless you buy the Feel free mounts or the yak attack spacers. even then the rails are not very sturdy when i had my yakattack cellblock attached it to i felt like it was going to break off or crack the plastic every large movement i made on the kayak. on top of that, there is absoultly no storage for anything anywhere on this boat.

The worst thing though in my opinion is the seat. It is so low that it makes pedalling a horrible experience. took it out for 3 hours one day and my tailbone area was in a ton of pain... I have neverowned a low tier pedal kayak before as i have only owned a Hobie Pro Angler and now a Native Slayer max, But decided to try this out due to all the amazing videos of people on. youtube talking about them. big mistake if you want a real fishing kayak.

AGAIN, i am not saying its a bad kayak, i am saying it is not meant for the tourney angler or the hardcore guy that wants to go out with 7+ rods, crate of tackle, battery and graph, etc. Its for the guy who wants to brings 2 spinning rods with him with a backpack and spend an afternoon on the water catching crappie.

If you are a more hardcore fisherman, this kayak isnt for you... I should have done more research before buying this.

unitrack system sucks, I have a garmin striker 7sv and fish finder flops around when tightened down on the unitrack system. You need to buy extra unitrack mounts to mount any yakattack products to the rails. Yakattack also makes these little adapters to slide over the Tbolts but the uni-track on the hull flexes so damn much. no storage space on the kayak at all except if you want to fit a blackpack or similar in the back. cant go bigger than a 13x13 blackpack. the seat sits way to low and makes pedaling difficult. If the seat was just 2-3inches higher, it would be a lot more comfortable. the pedal drive (maybe not broken in yet), but makes a high pitched squealing noise. initial stability is meh. this kayak def is hard to flip though! The rudder is pretty trash as well. If you are a hardcore fisherman that is planning on mounting up a fish finder and have it rigged out, this kayak is not for you and you should just get a Oldtown or Native.

For $1400 it isn't bad. but if your dropping over a grand on a kayak, save up some more and get a native or oldtown.

Space and design leaves a lot to be desired. I've seen similar kayaks at and around the same price point that have many more features and utilize the space in the kayak better. 2 of my main concerns are the peddle drive creaks and moans loud when peddling. Only way to quiet the noise is to poor water over it. It's the rubbing of plastic against plastic that makes the noise. Not sure if something is wrong with mine or just a bad design. Also, one of the rudder nuts that the steering wire goes through that are supposed to be adjustable broke when I was straightening the rudder which is something you need to do when you first get the kayak. But the nut that broke is made of soft aluminum or something and you can barely touch it or it will brake. Overall I'm not very happy with my purchase but it's what I could afford so I'll have to deal with it.

Ive had my Moken 10 pdl for about 2 months now and I love it. Best kayak on the market for the price. The wheel in the keel is a lifesaver when transporting. I highly recommend ordering any kayak from Eco Fishing Shop

Feelfree Moken 10 PDL Fishing Kayak

The guys at eco fishing are easy to work with. My 2 kayaks arrived within 10 days in great condition. One issue with both kayaks, the pedal drives will not lock into place. It appears as though the track mount needs to be shimmed up a bit and the latching hook needs adjusting. I believe the root cause is the plastic roto-molded body is not flat like it should be in that area causing interference. I contacted Eco 2 weeks ago and am awaiting a longer latch and shims. I have not yet received them yet. Not being a very patient man I have contacted Feelfree and they admitted to the issue and I am now awaiting them to send the parts. I am still waiting for that maiden voyage in both of our new kayaks.

I would like to commend Eco Fishing Shop for a top-notch customer service. My kayak arrived within 3 weeks and in pristine condition, it literally looks fresh out of the factory directly to my house. Now, the Moken 10 PDL is extremely maneuverable, spacious and has all the features you need as a fisherman. Additionally, the pedal drive is super smooth, fast and perfect in holding your position when fighting a fish or the wind. Highly recommend this kayak and for the price it cannot be beaten.

I’ve taken my kayak out several times for just cruising and fishing in a nearby creek in Southern Maryland. Getting it to the water took some figuring out since I’m fa female over 60 and we have a distance to walk to the water. We latch the front on back of our riding mower using the wheel in the keel to get it down to the waters edge. Getting out can be difficult for me though I found a pole through a drain hole near the foot pads does the trick to give me enough leverage. I’m looking forward to many years of enjoyment. The kayak is very stable and easily maneuverable.

Only been out twice, but I really like the Moken 10 PDL kayaks, they perform very well.

The kayak came in perfect shape wrapped very well and works great well worth the money very happy with it.

Ours was difficult to latch. Saw a feelfree video walk through of the new moken 10pdl and noticed the latch bracket had four adjustment slots. Took a look at ours and both kayaks had a three slot bracket. Emailed Feelfree about it and they said some kayaks were being shipped with wrong brackets. They sent us the right ones free of charge. I installed them with the two screws set at the lowest fourth slot and now all is well. Before my wife could not latch it without my help, and now she does it without effort. Hope this helps those with the difficult latch downs.
