Minn Kota Riptide Kayak Terrova Trolling Motor
The Minn Kota Riptide Kayak Terrova brings advanced GPS navigation to the compact world of kayak trolling motors, letting you focus on fishing instead of boat control. Engineered for saltwater use, it includes Spot-Lock® to anchor your kayak precisely with the press of a button. Recording paths, steering, and speed control are all built in so your motor does much of the work.
Deploying and stowing the motor is effortless thanks to a dedicated lever and fall-away ramps that guide it into the water or bring it aboard. The Auto Park feature automatically aligns the lower unit for clean, dependable stowing each time.
The motor is built for harsh marine environments. Its lower unit is grit-blasted and coated in aluminum to resist oxidation, then finished with a durable powder coat for corrosion protection. The shaft is made of composite material—Minn Kota’s indestructible composite guaranteed for life.
Battery efficiency is a priority, with the Digital Maximizer™ technology allowing up to five times longer runtime by adjusting power output to only what’s needed. The motor includes the Weedless Wedge™ 2 prop, whose swept-back, flared blades reduce drag and cut through vegetation without aggressive chopping.
This kayak-specific motor model ships with everything needed for installation and operation: the motor itself (in 55 lb thrust, 36" shaft), a Micro Remote, mounting hardware, safety switch kit, an Ethernet cable, and a prop. It’s compatible with the One-Boat Network so you can integrate with Humminbird fish finders and control through the One-Boat Network app.
Operation is versatile! You can control the motor via the included Micro Remote, the One-Boat Network app on your smartphone, or optional accessories such as a full-size wireless remote or foot pedal.
In addition to Spot-Lock, the Riptide Kayak Terrova supports Drift Mode, which simultaneously manages speed and heading—reducing the need for kicker motors or manual corrections in wind or current.
