We have secured a new partnership with a white glove delivery service that will ensure ZERO Damaged Kayaks. You will no longer be required to sign and inspect your kayak. But do not worry, this carrier has a 99.97% damage-free rate and they have assured us of this. In the rare occasion damage has been detected, Eco Fishing Shop will take care of the replacement as long as the damage is reported within 2 hours of delivery and pictures of the damage are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic and/or able to be repaired, such as dents or scratches, EFS will provide a repair kit. If you choose to replace a kayak with minor cosmetic damage instead, then you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

Spot-Lock holds a position electronically instead of anchoring. This is the freshwater model, not the saltwater Riptide version, so tell us before ordering if you fish salt regularly.

Does the NuCanoe U10 Complete Fishing Kit include a battery?

No, the NuCanoe U10 Complete Fishing Kit does not include a battery or charger. The Terrova is a 12-volt motor, so budget for a 12-volt deep-cycle battery and a matching charger on top of the package price.

Battery weight counts toward the U10's 500-pound maximum capacity and its 375-pound self-bailing capacity, alongside the motor and your gear. Tell us how long a day you fish and we will help you size the battery sensibly.

Should I buy the NuCanoe U10 Complete Fishing Kit or the kayak on its own?

Choose the NuCanoe U10 Complete Fishing Kit if you want the hull, a matched freshwater Terrova and NuCanoe accessories selected around the U10's track and deck layout. Buy the U10 on its own if you would rather paddle first, already own some of the accessories, or want to compare pedal options.

The hull is the same either way, and a battery and charger are separate purchases in both cases.

What warranty covers the NuCanoe U10 Complete Fishing Kit?

The NuCanoe U10 Complete Fishing Kit carries separate warranty coverage for the kayak, the motor and the accessories. The hull has three-year personal-use coverage and one-year commercial-use coverage, with registration within 30 days of purchase mandatory.

The Minn Kota Kayak Terrova has its own two-year limited warranty, and the accessories follow their own manufacturers' terms. Full hull terms appear in the NuCanoe Limited Warranty. Contact Eco Fishing Shop and we will confirm which warranty applies.
