In the rare occasion damage has been detected, Eco Fishing Shop will take care of the replacement as long as the damage is reported within 2 hours of delivery and pictures of the damage are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic and/or able to be repaired, such as dents or scratches, EFS will provide a repair kit. If you choose to replace a kayak with minor cosmetic damage instead, then you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

What exactly is in this package?

Four things: the Unlimited kayak with its 360 Fusion Seat, the Minn Kota Kayak Terrova trolling motor, the Minn Kota MKA-21 quick release bracket, and the NuCanoe Bow Mount Motor Kit for the Unlimited — which is required for mounting and is the piece people most often forget to order separately.

Buying the same four items individually is the alternative; the package exists so the mounting hardware actually matches the hull.

The included Minn Kota Kayak Terrova is the freshwater model. Customers planning regular saltwater use should contact Eco Fishing Shop before ordering so the appropriate motor can be selected.

What are the motor’s specifications?

It is a 55 lb thrust, 36" shaft, 12V bow-mount motor with electric steering, weighing 40 lbs 8 oz. It ships with the Micro Remote and offers Spot-Lock and advanced GPS navigation.

It comes with the Micro Remote, lanyard, safety switch kit, ethernet cable, prop and mounting hardware. Spot-Lock and advanced GPS navigation cover electronic anchoring, path recording and speed control from the remote.

Does it come with a battery?

No. The Terrova is a 12V motor and no battery or charger is included with it — that is a separate purchase.

Budget for a 12V deep-cycle battery and a charger on top of the package price. Tell us how long you fish and we will point you at a capacity that suits rather than guessing.

How much does the whole rig weigh?

The hull is 84 lbs and the motor adds another 40 lbs 8 oz, so before you add a battery you are already over 120 lbs. A 12V deep-cycle battery adds substantially more again.

The motor and battery come off for transport. Whether rooftop transport is practical depends on your vehicle’s roof-load limit, your rack system, whether you use a loading aid and your ability to lift the kayak safely — assembled, this rig is likely to require a trailer or a transport cart.

Should I buy this or the kayak on its own?

Buy the package if you already know you want a bow-mount motor. It bundles the correct hull-specific mounting kit, which is easy to get wrong when ordering piecemeal.

Buy the Unlimited on its own if you want to paddle first and decide on propulsion later, or if you are considering the EPS electric system instead of a bow-mount motor. The hull is identical either way.

What warranty covers a package like this?

The kayak, motor and accessories have separate warranty coverage.

The hull has three-year personal-use coverage and one-year commercial-use coverage, with registration required within 30 days of purchase. The Minn Kota Kayak Terrova has a separate two-year limited warranty. Other accessories are covered under their respective terms.
