In the rare occasion damage has been detected, Eco Fishing Shop will take care of the replacement as long as the damage is reported within 2 hours of delivery and pictures of the damage are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic and/or able to be repaired, such as dents or scratches, EFS will provide a repair kit. If you choose to replace a kayak with minor cosmetic damage instead, then you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.  

The Eco Fishing Shop definition of damage is when the kayak is delivered in a condition that compromises the hull and is confirmed with the vendor that would void the warranty.

Incredible kayak

I have had this kayak for over 2 years now and it is perfect for lakes and bigwaters as the name implies. It is amazingly stable, wicked fast, and wicked comfortable. Able to be rigged in countless ways and perfect for kayak tournaments or just fun days on the water. You wont regret this purchase!

132 predator pdl

Been having an absolute blast in this thing. I come from a touring kayak background. I took a long hiatus from paddling completely but in my youth I did a good amount of guiding and I’ve done thousands id hours in the cockpit of a touring kayak. This was an adjustment for me, but not nearly the drop off in speed or performance that I was expecting. I’m good sized, around 230 lbs when I’m in shape, I’d use 17-18 foot touring boats. I started in a 12’ when I was about 10 years old and outgrew it quickly. I was worried the boat wouldn’t track, would feel like a toy, and I was pleasantly surprised. You will not move as quickly as you would in a touring kayak, but you are using your legs and it’s incredibly efficient. I have trolled 8-10 miles without even being out for all that long. I got out into gusts up to 15-20 and the boat was pretty much maxed out, whereas in a touring kayak that’s properly outfitted that’s when the fun is just getting started, so there are certainly limits. It has secondary stability, edges decently, rudder is ok but you need to upgrade the handle and bolt from Navarre to track well in current. Boat feels incredibly sturdy in the hull and with all fittings, hatches, lines, etc. it’s well built. Pdl drive is smooth now but took 2-4 trips to really break in completely. If I have any warnings, the 132 gets very heavy very fast as you outfit it. Once it’s outfitted expect 125-150 lbs with the pdl drive. You will need to have a system for getting it onto a roof rack without help. It’s not great for tight creeks, so maybe consider the shorter models if you’re needing a real back bay and creek specialist.

Old town rep told me I could car top the bigwater since I had no opportunity to physically see it in person I took his word for it but when I received it it’s a lot heavier and bulkier than I thought I think he was just up selling me.. it but figuring out how to load it unload it then mount my fish finder along with wires battery

Worth the wait! Predator/BigWater PDL 132

We have lots of experience with canoes and flat bottom boats, but this is the first fishing kayaks. Yes, plural. We bought two. The wife is as happy as I am, and she is a tiny little woman. Easy to maneuver, fast on the water and very stable. Surprisingly agile as a "paddle" kayak. Inserted drive insert for test. Some areas we travel are shallow. Very pleased. Local river and lake so far, but they will be going out onto the Bay soon. Eco Fishing Shop did a great job and the delivery company was top notch. I can't emphasize enough how pleasant the whole experience was. Except for the wait, and that wasn't terrible. Thank you!

Big lake , Big water , Fishing kayak machine

So where are the start on this review. Well this thing is freaking awesome.. looking at it on the website does it no justice.. this kayak is a fishing machine. Put a decent sonar unit like a Lawrence hook reveal and you got yourself one incredible fishing kayak for rough water big lakes.. I looked at many other Fishing kayaks before purchasing this from Eco fishing shop. I looked at the wilderness systems and one other brand I won’t mention because they’re always way too expensive for what you get.. But this old town predator PDL is the real deal for a PDL fishing kayak.. I live on a huge lake 4 miles wide by 22 miles long With 12 islands in its body of water , and waves gets 5 to 7 foot on this lake and this kayak cuts through those waves Like a razor! First thing about buying this kayak was safety and this kayak doesn’t shy away from safety and stability this thing is rocksolid it’s the bomb.. so if you’re looking to buy a well rounded fishing kayak that won’t let you down don’t look any further than old town predator PDL and you will never look back at the crowd..
you also get free shipping with this kayak. So I had a little bit of damage to the seat of the kayak in transportation to my location”house”,So all I did was emailed the crew at Eco fishing shop and within no time had me a replacement seat for my old town predator PDL to get back out there and put some miles on the water with this bitch in kayak.

I had my eye on this kayak for a couple years before finally pulling the trigger and Eco Fishing Shop made this a very easy purchase, and I was able to get quick updates using their website chat feature. The kayak itself is built rock solid, extremely stable and tons of storage space which is great for those long days on the water. I had this out in high winds on a smaller lake with 2-3' waves and didn't feel unsafe going through that water at all. The seat is comfortable, fully adjustable and there is ample room for anyone of just about any height. I would highly recommend this kayak to anyone in the market for a seriously tough and roomy kayak.

Awesome kayak and even better company that sell them

So I received my kayak on 28 July 2021 and ordered it April 18..There’s old town predator PDl is truly beast of a kayak..Delivery guys were awesome drop it off in front of my garage so I could take it inside and unwrap it.. I did notice there is two parts and they get rubbed on the Seat section , All the metal tubing the paint was rubbed off and there’s a spot on the Seat material that has worn marks from being rubbed…Besides that overall nothing else was damaged on the kayak it was pretty good wrapped but I would’ve done a better job … I totally recommend this kayak for anybody that is deciding to fish big lake open body water very stable kayak and the pedal drive system is a dream!!
