If that is more boat than you need, the NuCanoe Unlimited is 12 feet 6 inches long, 41 inches wide and has an 84-pound hull.

What is the difference between maximum and self-bailing capacity on the NuCanoe Unlimited MAX?

The NuCanoe Unlimited MAX is rated to 750 pounds with the scuppers plugged and 500 pounds with the scuppers open. Both figures cover passengers and gear together, so count motors, batteries, electronics and tackle.

How much does the NuCanoe Unlimited MAX weigh, and how should it be transported?

The NuCanoe Unlimited MAX has an estimated kayak weight of 100 pounds and an estimated 115 pounds with the seat fitted, and the second figure is the boat as you will actually handle it. Both numbers are published as estimates rather than measured weights.

The 15-pound gap is worth planning around. Decide how you will move and load a boat this size, and budget for a cart or trailer at the same time as the kayak.

What can the NuCanoe Unlimited MAX be powered with?

The NuCanoe Unlimited MAX carries an estimated maximum rating of 5 HP or 100 pounds of thrust, the highest in the range against 2.5 HP for the Unlimited, U10 and ACCESS Series hulls. Treat that figure as an estimate and confirm it for your intended motor before buying.

Hull-specific bow motor mounts are published for the F10, Flint, Frontier 12 and Unlimited, but no bracket part number is published for the MAX. Contact us to confirm the correct mounting solution for your motor rather than assuming a bracket published for another hull will transfer to this one.

Does the NuCanoe Unlimited MAX include a seat?

The NuCanoe Unlimited MAX includes the 360 Fusion Seat as standard equipment, so it is not a separate purchase. It is a frame-and-fabric seat rather than molded plastic, with the fabric tensioned into the frame so it does not sag, and it rotates for casting and rigging.

The published weight with the seat fitted is an estimated 115 pounds. A second seat is available separately if you fish tandem; check compatibility with us first.

How should the NuCanoe Unlimited MAX be cleaned and stored?

Rinse the NuCanoe Unlimited MAX with fresh water after saltwater use and store it out of direct sunlight. When covered or otherwise protected it can be stored right-side up; it can also sit upside down on crossbars or rails, or rest on a side gunwale.

Do not suspend the hull from the carry handles or deck rings, and avoid concentrated pressure points. The limited warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials, not damage from misuse, modification, neglect or improper storage.

What warranty covers the NuCanoe Unlimited MAX, and is registration required?

The NuCanoe Unlimited MAX hull is covered for three years against defects in workmanship and materials in personal use, and for one year in commercial use. Registration within 30 days of purchase is mandatory and is completed with the registration card or the online registration form.

U Max Nuclear Green - props to eco fishing for outstanding customer support too
If you’re someone who's tall, big, both or want to bring a friend or your 5 year old out with you this is an amazing fishing kayak. I had 2 200+ lbs dudes plus my son on it one day and it went well. Just note if you reach over max self bail capacity 500lbs you can’t use the transducer retract system that you can purchase separately. You will eventually sink haha
Plenty of track options here and another is added if you get the gear pod with it. I keep the front right side track clear so i can jump in the water on the extra hot days and get back in.

Most likely if you get this you’ll add a trolling motor and probably the foot steering. I’m still working the kinks out with the eps system with the nk300 as the left turn isn’t nearly as good as the right. Also it turns wide unless slightly using the throttle with it.
I do wish there were options to what length the cable is that connects the foot steering to the motor but even then it’s a personal preference. I had to purchase a separate one from NuCanoe. If you have a crate I would suggest the 8ft cable.
Stability is really good but can be better. It’s a massive kayak so consider your size and potential plans if you want to bring someone or not.
This yak also handles busy waters really well. Handled large wakes well.

Great Kayak, great service.

Bought the UMax from Eco Fishing because there isn’t a local dealer anywhere near me, and I wanted a bigger boat than my Bonafide SKF117. This was my first purchase from Eco, and we had a hiccup with the order. I ordered the Nuclear Green, which said it was in stock, but wasn’t, and I needed it quickly for a fishing trip. They were able to get me an Army Camo, make sure it got here in time, and threw in a few goodies for good measure.

The kayak is a beast. I’m powering it with a Garmin Force Current with foot controls and a LiTime 25.6V 100AH which fits in the stern pod which gets me 5.6 MPH. Super easy to cleanly rig this boat. On the SKF the pedal controls felt pretty abrupt, but this boat is so stable they feel fine. I’m 6’2, 225 and I am able to stand and cast, and it never feels unstable, and is all day comfortable. The layout is perfect for how I fish. Also wired in a Garmin EchoMap. The transducer mount is slick.

The boat was well wrapped and arrived in perfect shape. I will continue to buy from Eco Fishing. Great experience. If you’re a bigger guy, this is your boat.

Hi, I have a big fish 108 for 4 or five yrs. Don’t remember. But the 108 big fish can handle 27 mph winds. I was in a storm, I need to how well the unlimited Max can do. Thanks, hope I ask question right.

Hi there, While there isn't an official wind-speed rating for the Unlimited MAX, I would expect it to handle 27 mph winds very well when properly rigged and loaded. The Unlimited MAX is an extremely stable platform with a 41" beam, a 750 lb capacity, and a hull designed to balance speed and stability in a variety of water conditions.

Keep in mind that wind performance depends heavily on factors like your weight, gear load, whether you're paddling, pedaling, or using a motor, and the type of water you're on. If you're already comfortable in a Big Fish 108 at 27 mph winds, I don't see the Unlimited MAX being a step backward in wind handling. In many situations, especially with a rudder or motor setup, it should feel even more capable.
