One minor thing is I find it difficult to engage the pedal drive into the lower locking system it can be a real struggle. I sometimes have to use my foot and pound it in place.
I don't think a sit in kayak can get any better than the Loon 126. Super comfortable seat, glides and tracks excellent. Good size cockpit and handy removable console. The 3 three layer constructions make this a very durable kayak. I started with the original 1999 Loon 138 made with the same material and it took a lot of abuse and still was in great shape when I sold it in 2017 and bought the new Loon 126. The only change I see in the 2017 Loon 126 and the current model is the hatch was hinged on the 2017.
I didn't get the Angler version I rigged it myself. Added rod holders, anchor trolley and a Lowrance 5" fish finder withe the transducer reading thru the hull mounted behind the seat.
Eco Fishing gave me a great experience. I highly recommend them. Customer service was above par. Shipping was great. Products arrived as expected. Very happy with my purchase and experience with Eco Fishing.
Has a really comfortable seat and with only occasional rudder adjustments a novice like me is able fish the whole time and boat position stays good. The pedal drive feels really robust and can really get around a lake much the same way a bicycle substantially opens coverage compared to walking. It’s been a great investment.

I have multiple Jackson Big Rig's. The stability and ability to carry my gear is amazing. I plan on purchasing two other Jackson Kayaks because of the pedal drive and stability. The Flex Drive is portable, dependable and fast. And when my kids use my kayak I do not have to worry about drive damage due to he in hull lower unit. Our other pedal drive kayaks are damaged because my kids have trouble lifting and remembering to lift them out of the water! Could not be a bigger fan.
Love my new PWR129 PRO the seat is super comfortable and it swivels!! Can’t wait for spring to do new fishing trips to the lake!!

I’ve been using my Jackson Bite FD for a little while now, and it’s been a great kayak overall. The pedal drive is smooth and makes long days on the lake a lot easier, especially when I’m dealing with wind or covering bigger water. The kayak feels really stable, even when I’m moving around or reaching for gear.
There’s plenty of deck space to stand, move, and organize everything I need. The seat is decent—not the most perfect fit for me yet, and I’m still trying to find that ideal position—but it’s definitely not uncomfortable or the worst seat out there.
Eco Fishing Shop was great to deal with during the purchase. They answered my questions, were easy to work with, and made the whole process simple.
Overall, I’m really happy with the kayak and the experience so far.
I researched kayaks to try to find the most stable one after I had purchased one from Cabela’s and used it once and got rid of it. I actually gave it away. I was hesitant first because I knew of no one that had this type of kayak. I took a chance and I am so glad I did. I can stand up turn around walk around this kayak and I am 230 pounds and it does not tip. I highly recommend this kayak or anyone who wants stability.
This motor is fantastic. It’s faster than my friends NK 180. I replaced an NK 180 and a motor guide.

I have had my new kayak for 2 1/2 months but, due to travel and family needs, just got it on the water the past two weeks. The old Town Sportsman Salty PDL 120 has proven to be everything I was looking for, except one thing. It is very stable, fast, easy to pedal, and has the open design that allows me to have rods, tackle, bait buckets, landing net, yak pole, and paddle all readily accessible without clutter. I have added a bungee attached cooler to the back of my seat with two additional rod holders, making extended time on the water more enjoyable. I am working on selecting optimal electronics, but have been very successful fishing in my low country tidal creeks without the technical aid.
While the outfitted kayak is much heftier than my older kayaks, fitting it with a balloon tire rail-type cart makes the 600 yard walk to the neighborhood launch very doable.
I have pedaled over six miles in one session without this 66 year old man feeling tired at the end of the day. Waking up the next day raring to go again!
The one thing that isn’t great is with my 6’4” frame needing the seat in the next to last back position, the seat back angle retention strap obstructs the rightward movement of the steering knob. This is very irritating when trying to maneuver in tight areas where sharp turns are needed. I recognize that I could get aftermarket seat risers, but I like the seat level and lowered center of gravity for the added sense of stability.
Except for that one thing, I wouldn’t change anything. I love getting to fish the docks, skinny water, and tight creek branches while getting a good leg workout.
