I researched kayaks to try to find the most stable one after I had purchased one from Cabela’s and used it once and got rid of it. I actually gave it away. I was hesitant first because I knew of no one that had this type of kayak. I took a chance and I am so glad I did. I can stand up turn around walk around this kayak and I am 230 pounds and it does not tip. I highly recommend this kayak or anyone who wants stability.

This motor is fantastic. It’s faster than my friends NK 180. I replaced an NK 180 and a motor guide.

I have had my new kayak for 2 1/2 months but, due to travel and family needs, just got it on the water the past two weeks. The old Town Sportsman Salty PDL 120 has proven to be everything I was looking for, except one thing. It is very stable, fast, easy to pedal, and has the open design that allows me to have rods, tackle, bait buckets, landing net, yak pole, and paddle all readily accessible without clutter. I have added a bungee attached cooler to the back of my seat with two additional rod holders, making extended time on the water more enjoyable. I am working on selecting optimal electronics, but have been very successful fishing in my low country tidal creeks without the technical aid.
While the outfitted kayak is much heftier than my older kayaks, fitting it with a balloon tire rail-type cart makes the 600 yard walk to the neighborhood launch very doable.
I have pedaled over six miles in one session without this 66 year old man feeling tired at the end of the day. Waking up the next day raring to go again!
The one thing that isn’t great is with my 6’4” frame needing the seat in the next to last back position, the seat back angle retention strap obstructs the rightward movement of the steering knob. This is very irritating when trying to maneuver in tight areas where sharp turns are needed. I recognize that I could get aftermarket seat risers, but I like the seat level and lowered center of gravity for the added sense of stability.
Except for that one thing, I wouldn’t change anything. I love getting to fish the docks, skinny water, and tight creek branches while getting a good leg workout.

Eco fishing did a great job with shipping and wrapping the kayak, it came with no issues from there end looked good and zero scratches on it. They were also very easy to communicate with, the kayak I ordered shipped out within a week. The delivery company did very well keeping me informed about my kayak.

The kayak is very stable, and does well on decent sized lakes, the beaver tail works great and helps a ton when going through the water, I am a larger guy around 250 and this kayak handles the weight and all the gear with no issues. I Have not had any issues with the hull, and it is holding up well.

the pdl drive is a little louder than I would like, (this is even after lubing it up and tightening what ever needed tightened) also a lot of loose screw mostly on the standing platform, also would have like to see an insert made for the pdl area so that when you remove it on the water you can fill the gap so less water comes in

Arrived in perfect condition, ordered the 2025 model which came with foot steering cables already routed and foot pegs on a sliding track. I brought it out in the ocean on the first day and had an absolute blast. Extremely stable. Now to save up for an NK300 to slap on the back.

Kayak came in a timely manner it did have a couple scratches from shipping which wasn’t from eco fishing but I called them up and within a few days they sent me a keel guard and stuff to fill in the area they are very helpful and nice and I wouldn’t recommend any one else for my kayaking needs haven’t gotten the chance to take my yak out but I am tomorrow but I couldn’t be any happier with my purchase and I’m sure if I have any problems it will be handled right if I ever buy another kayak I won’t go nowhere else

It is absolutely needed in order to have a place to store gear. Otherwise, there's nowhere in the kayak that will work. With that being said, if I spend $1700 on a kayak, this should come with it at no extra charge. Not an add on option but part of the kayak purchase every time. An extra $200 for a part that should be no more than $50-$75 is outrageous! Others mention it not being secure, I dont agree. It feels very secure once you tighten it down. I have the battery for my fish finder and lights mounted inside it and have no issues. I ran a yakpower system in it for all my power aside for the trolling motor and its a slick design.

Love my big fish kayak. Arrived without a scratch and easy to assemble. Shipping was a little slow but always updated on where it was at. Only complaint I have (and not to bad)is the pro drive pedal system is a little noisy and cumbersome to lift to get weeds out but not terrible. Customer service is a+ also!!

I have taken out my U10 3 times now since receiving it just before Memorial Day and all I can say is wow!!! I have been inshore kayak fishing for about 8 years now and after having the wrong kayak for those 8 years, it was finally time to upgrade. I did extensive research before deciding on the U10. As a matter of fact, I even called NuCanoe and got reassurance from them that I would be very happy with the U10 for my needs. My access to the bay that I fish in involves navigating up and down a path through a dune so I cannot trailer it. The U10 allows me to easily load it into my truck and use a kayak cart to transport it to the water. The stability is amazing!! I am a guy in my early 50s that has suffered from some balance issues due to inner ear problems that have come up over the last few years and I am able to stand up with ease in this kayak and cast. On July 4th, I was able to easily handle catching a 6-8ft Black Tip shark and never once felt unstable while turning my seat side to side and spinning the kayak in circles while landing the fish. Paddling through inshore waters is no problem and any water that may get in the kayak, is quickly handled by the fantastically designed drainage system. Some people look at the design of the U10 and do not like it because it lacks built in storage. I happen to like having an open design so I can customize the kayak any way I want. Buy this kayak and you will NOT regret it.
Now getting to my experience with Eco Fishing Shop. They were very easy to deal with and immediately responsive when I had a slight issue with not receiving part of my order. Shipping was fast and care was taken with my kayak, so it was not damaged getting to me. Eco Fishing Shop is now my go to website for anything I need. I look forward to a long relationship with them! It's a fishing machine

We bought two for our lakehouse, nice lightweight stable kayaks. They did not have them in stock at the store so I drove to Arkansas to pick them up at the warehouse, and assembled the pedals and rudder myself. Great for hands free fishing. We did have to adjust the rudders so they operated correctly. My kids used them over the holiday weekend and really liked them. I like being able to put in back of pickup for easy transport.

I gave up my rowboat, my sailboat and my sit in side kayak. I wanted to find a comfortable stable watercraft to get back on the Columbia River.
The Hobie PA 14 is it! Very comfortable. Very stable and with the Newport NK 180 Pro electric motor - very Lazy. It’s the perfect craft for me. Heck, I may even take up fishing.
